Cheap and simple! It is in the perfect location to explore the city. If you want to spend your time in the hotel better look for something else. This one has a bed and a bathroom so what else is needed? Staff id very friendly and helpful.

It looks quite worn and old but who cares?

It has perfect location, literally 2 mins away from Taksim square. The price of this property is very reasonable for its location. The staff was very responsible and friendly.

It is a very old apartment without elevator. I was expecting that when I saw the pictures provided on Booking.com; however, the actual condition looked worse than the pictures. It wasn't dirty, but was just pretty old and run-down. Luckily all the facilities functioned well. But all the above negative opinions were compensated by the low price and great location. You get what you pay for.

We stayed in the room on the top floor, #402. The room was large, comfortable and very quiet - it didn't face the street. There was a window which let in daylight. The air-conditioning worked good. The kitchen was minimally stocked with plates, glasses, electric kettle and mugs - no microwave or hotplate. The refrigerator was larger than a cube fridge and it worked very good. The bathroom had hot water. The bed was comfortable and there was a bedside table. The room also featured a large table, two chairs, a smaller table, a wardrobe and a few mirrors in the living area. Wi-fi was decent: speeds were good but the signal dropped on a few occasions. The owner Aris and the attendant Ramiz were very pleasant. The property seemed quiet, safe and secure - guests are given a key to the front door of the building which is locked at all times. Our room also had a sturdy steel door in its front hallway. The location is excellent - just a few minute's walk from Taksim Square and Taksim Metro Station. There are also many shops and restaurants just steps away and even a 24-hour bakery across the street from Budak Residence.

There were just a few small quirks - the floor was a bit uneven/spongy in two spots and some of the fixtures were broken/nonfunctioning. In short, the pros far outweighed the cons.

The location is perfect,accessible to most important necessities like metro,foods,pharmacy, tourism offices and bus stations and tickets. The price is very low and very practical. Bathroom is very excellent with hot shower. Convenient stores and foods are everywhere downstairs. Taksim Square and Istiklal street is just few minutes walk. The door in the room is made steel, very safe and make me feel comfortable everytime i left the building, and most of all, the hotel staff are very polite and helpful. i never felt ignored with some of my requests, thanks to them. I highly recommend this accommodation especially if you're looking for a budget place to stay.

for someone like me who loves to travel on low budget, i only have few criterias that should meet my expectations and this accommodation exceeds with my needs. I have nothing to complain, and there's nothing that i didn't like.

Location Is perfect. The owner is very friendly and helpful. My flight was in the late evening. I asked for late check out, it was extended free until 8 pm. Thank you.

An extremely affordable place to stay right in the heart of Taksim, conveniently close to public transportation, Istiklal Avenue, shops, and restaurants. The owner, Mr. Anas, is incredibly welcoming and supportive. I initially planned to stay for just one night but ended up extending for two additional nights. I appreciated the property’s accessibility and how it allowed me to stick to my budget as a traveler.

The property is old, but that didn’t bother me as long as it was clean, comfortable, and safe. The wifi had some issues, but I was informed it was due to a cable connection problem in the area.

So the place is right next to Taksim, few meters from Metro, bus stop (Taksim tunnel) and istiklal street. This was my 2nd trip to Istanbul in 5 yrs and 1st time stay at this location. I absolutely enjoyed the stay. I would recommend it and would stay again here if I come back to Istanbul. Many thanks for the hospitality brother, stay blessed.

Place is cozy, so the room was sufficient for 2 people.If you are more than 2 people then ask for bigger room in advance.

Great location close to Taksim, food and metro close to there, comfortable bed, AC and heater, room was spacy, 3 locked doors so very safe, nice host. Worth price i paid it was pretty cheap and room was old but great value overall.

There was no cooking plate so you cant cook at home if it matter also it was not really apartments its more hotel room with water cooker and extra sink available, everything in one space there is no separate rooms or kitchen, and maybe would be too small for long stay for two persons but for 1 its spacy enought. Windows has no "view" cus next building very close and if you want more privacy you will not like it.

Location is amazing, - 3 min walk from Taksim Square and Istiqlal Street. - 3 min walk from Ferhat Supermarket. - Quiet but safe location. Facilities are good, - Hot water in the shower - Bathroom is nice, clean and moderate size - Lighting is very good. Staff support, - Very friendly, kind and accessible via WhatsApp.

Facilities, - Hot water is only in the shower - Need a fan or something to draw smell away from bathroom. - Wi-Fi speed was not consistent and leaning to the slow side, probably due to others using it. - Need an actual 24/7 reception because not all visitors have internet or sim card upon arrival.

For 20$, you get a room with a TV, a bathroom, a sink with plates, shampoo, soap, electric kettle, twin bed, table, chair, 2 closets. I also got 2 tea bags, a Nescafe bag, and 2 some spring water cubes (?) for free. The owner was very nice. He carried my luggage to the room. For 20$, this is a steal.

The electric outlet near the bed is detached making it a hazard.
