My family and I had the pleasure of staying at The Diderot Hotel in Taksim, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This charming hotel is perfectly situated just a short 3-minute walk from İstiklal Caddesi, putting the best of Istanbul's shopping, dining, and entertainment right at your doorstep. The convenience of having a taxi depot just around the corner made getting around the city effortless. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming. What truly set our stay apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality we received from Emre, Yunus, and the entire team. Traveling with three young children can be a challenge, but they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Every request was met with a warm smile, and their attentiveness made our stay truly memorable. Our time at The Diderot Hotel was a wonderful part of our family holiday in Istanbul—one we will always treasure. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay in the heart of Taksim. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. Our room was smaller with a larger balcony (which we prefered) while our friends room was more spacious with a smaller balcony. The location was perfect as it was a small walk from taksim square but away from the noise (other than the call to prayer that you hear on occassion). There is an elevator which is great and also the hosts were nice enough to even hold onto our luggage after checkout because our flight was in the evening. We were very happy with this hotel. The location is just outside taksim square so you are away from the noise but still close to the main attractions. There are also shops and restaurants nearby. The hosts were very accomodationg and did their best to assist us with whatever we needed. There is an elevator but it is small and can only carry 2 people at a time. Some of our friends preffered using the stairs but honestly I was very grateful for the elevator. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

There is a mosque really nearby which can be quite loud.

Thanks to The manager, Yunus was very friendly and kind.helping us a lot and also to borrow his Istanbul card (just need to top up the credits) hehehe.the hotel not far from taksim square, mini market shop, restaurants.i like feridiye borek cafe not far from hotel just 3 mins walk, it's very affordable price of turkish desserts and cakes.very convenient place.enjoyed the time during night time, wish to stay again next year for my other visit of tournament in Istanbul.

Absolutely loved my recent stay at The Diderot Hotel From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was efficient and welcoming, even though I arrived late at night. Throughout my stay, the staff was amazing and constantly checking out if I needed anything and great customer service. There were 3 front desk employees Mr. Yunus, Mr. Daniel and unfortunately can’t remember the last one’s name. Amazing folks with amazing talent and customer service. Mr. Yunus and Mr. Daniel were such gentlemen and kind people. The staff carried my bags all the way to the room. The room was pretty clean, the bed was pretty comfortable, the floor was mopped pretty well, bathroom was pretty neat and clean. The location of the hotel was very good and close to everything such as barbershops, restaurants, cafes, mosques, taxi stations, train stations, etc. The location of this hotel is in the heart of Istanbul towards the European side. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at The Diderot Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Istanbul Turkey.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to Taksim Square and the bus station to and from the airport. There are plenty of restaurants, bakeries and kebab shops on the outside. The genuine warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff left a lasting impression. They dealt with all requests promptly and with great kindness and are available at the reception 7/7 and 24/24. The room and bed were very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was impeccable. There was a kettle in the room to make coffee and tea and you could always get more coffee, tea, water and juice at the reception. Thank you very much, I would definitely come back next time I am in Istanbul.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and i have nothing to complain about. Rooms are so clean, the bathroom is clean, very friendly receptionist “Yunus” and professional staff “Emre” and “Babak”. If i ever come back to Istanbul i will surely come back to The Diderot hotel. Everything you need is close, you are close to any public transportation. Very safe area of town full of tourists also quiet at night. They offer you tea or coffee in the lobby. You can find restaurants, markets, cafe, And anything you would probably need, around this hotel.

Amazing hospitality of the staff and very comfortable and cosy room. Facilities are completely new, the bed is super comfy, and unlike in many other hotels in the city there is an elevator in the building. The location is very convenient as you find all kind of restaurants and shops nearby while the metro station and airport shuttle are within few mins away. I really appreciate the friendly, very helpful and warm treatment I received from everyone working at the hotel and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip. Thank you very much🙏🏻

Modern and clean, great location Close distance to Taksim A fresh newly started hotel in a very central location, a stones throw from Taksim mosque! Excellent value for a 2 star hotel and very friendly staff, went out of their way to facilitate whatever I asked. The metro station, airport bus (Havatas) drop-off point and the Taksim city bus hub are all 5 mins walk from the hotel door. The street where the hotel is located is narrow and full of small shops that are not the best choice for travellers so I would suggest that you walk 100 m past Taksim square in order to find better cafes and shops. For a slightly more upscale experience visit the cafes and Divani brasseri at Ataturk Cultural center, just 7 mins from the hotel The staff was friendly, Yunus who is the manager was so friendly and helpful, the location was near to all needed transportation and the street was safe.🤞🤩

There is no breakfast offered and no lift, but the personel will eagerly help you with the luggage. I will definitely come back Select rooms..

I would like to thank the team of the hotel and the management firstly specially m.r muhamet and m.r Yunus for the great service and welcoming. And I want to add more things like the ideal location that is close to the transportation and the square and the safety of the area and I want to add the cleanliness of the hotel and the great house keeping stuff plus that stuff was so nice and helpful. All the comforts of home were there , i had a really pleasant stay Also it was very reasonable price compared to the excellent service.
