Everything was excelent, the staff very helpful, kind and friendly. We’ve asked if we could possibly pay for a room upgrade, but surprisingly they’ve upgraded our room free of charge, which was very kind of them. The front desk staff was very helpful and ready to help and answer all of our questions. Our new upgraded room was very spacious and comfortable. Overall a very nice and quiet hotel, with a very nice wellness center in their basement! Thank you very much Hotel Gonen team for making our stay a memorable one and making us feel like home!

I really appreciated the hotel’s willingness to help. After my first night, the reception staff—especially Eylül Hanım and Enes Bey—were extremely kind. They arranged for me to move to a top-floor room with a fantastic city view, which made my stay much more comfortable. I’d also like to mention Emin bey , who helped with my luggage and was very attentive.

Honestly, the final room and the staff’s great service left me with no complaints. Any minor issues were fully resolved by their efforts.

Very convenient location.

I do not understand why the gym opens at 8.00am if it is below ground, so it is not possible to disturb other guests, and it is not needed staff as it is for the Spa. The possibility of having it opened for instance at 7.00am, would meet a lot of guests needs without possibility of enjoying the fitness area during the day. On the other hand, the gym facilities and equipment are excellent and very complete.

Bellboys were very nice, helped us to park our car, and also book a taxi to the airport. Staff in general are very helpful, and the hotel is kept clean and tidy. The location was great for food, especially. It is a good place to stay with metro at walking distance.

Staff on reception has difficulty talking in english. In the morning, cleaning staff knocks on the door even if there is a do not disturb sign. They also open the door sometimes even if the sign is on the door. When told to come later, they knock after 30mins again. It can be a disturbance if you want to have a good sleep in the morning.

The property is well situated, just a block from Taksim square. The room was spacious with 2 double beds and breakfast was the best. Full English breakfast everyday, nice view of the city from the breakfast balcony, loved it. We had an early arrival flight and arrived at the hotel 6am with check-in being at 14:00, but they checked us in at 6am since they had a room available and did not charge us extra for checking in early. This was so great since we were tired from an all night flight from South Africa.

It’s so clean and very comfortable and all staff in hotel very helpful and always smiling and they greeting everyone , i want say thank you for all staff there . Location super perfect and very close to taksim square and all restaurants and coffee shops under the hotel . Gym and pool so nice and clean .

All was good and perfect

Excellent location if you want to be 150meters from Taksim Square / Istiklal Street 250m away. You have the Metro within a 3 minute walk. The Deluxe room is very comfortable and I had the view of Taksim Square. Buffet Breakfast is served on the 11 Floor with amazing views of the Bosporus. I would not be doing justice if I did not mention 2 staff members. Muhammad who runs the concierge is an amazing young man full of character and a vibrant personality, anything you need his your go to man. Second staff member is Idris, tucked away behind reception desk with his radiant welcoming smile. Will do any and everything to accommodate your request in which ever way he can. Thank you guys for making our stay a pleasant one.

Location where everything is around you. Very helpful Staff, they gave us an amazing early check in due to availability which was around 8am where no other hotels in my life has done it before as well as late check out. A real big thanks to Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Ali from the front desk.

The air conditioner was going off and on even if it’s not at auto.

The property location and staff were amazing.
