I highly recommend this accommodation because: 1. The location and access to Istanbul's public transportation system was excellent. We would reach Taksim metro station by walking for about 8 minutes. There was a very good supermarket next to the residence. From the residence, we could walk to Esteghlal Street in 5 minutes. 2. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and there were clean towels and sheets in the room. The toilet and bathroom were very clean. During our 4-day stay, the room was cleaned twice. 3. The facilities inside the room were good. It had comfortable beds and mattresses. There was a hair dryer in the room. There was a TV and a small fridge in the room. The closet in the room were very practical. The dressing table and chairs inside the room were very practical for women to use. The safe box inside the closet was available and usable. If requested, you could also use an iron for clothes. 4. The attitude of the accommodation owners was excellent. They were responsive at all hours of the day and night. Mr. Aziz and his brother Mr. Ali were wonderful hosts. We checked into the room at 11pm, and they behave us respectfully. At the end of the trip, we check-out at 11:00 AM, and since our return flight ticket was at 11:00 PM, they kept all our luggage and belongings in their office, which was also a very safe place.

In general, I did not see any particular problem in this accommodation, but you should keep in mind that this accommodation is not a hotel and you will not pay high hotel fees. I myself prefer to use accommodations similar to this one in all my travels. Although, in my opinion, this residence was no less than a 4-star hotel in Istanbul in terms of amenities inside the room and cleaning, etc.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Taxim Cool Suites! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and comfortable. A special thank you to Yadin, who was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We had direct and easy communication with him, and he was always quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. Yadin went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience in Istanbul. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Istanbul. We would definitely come back again! We stayed there for six nights. Our arrival was marked by an unpleasant incident, which I can’t discuss here, but it relates to the safety of Istanbul. Despite the rough start, the hotel staff were uncooperative, and we had no other options. The location of the accommodation was excellent, and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was acceptable. When we first arrived, the bed was covered in hair, indicating it hadn’t been cleaned properly, but in the following days, they did clean the bed.

room service everyday, cleanness, nice view of the city, cute vibrant neighborhood, proximity to: 1. subway; 2. tourist attractions; 3. exchange points; 4. ferry; 5. cozy, affordable cafes; 6. a couple of decent beer pubs that do the job.

takes some effort to get inside: as a matter of fact we never met the owner of the suites, we were received by some other fella who was staying there as well (apparently, a friend of the owner), but before that we had to take a quick detour to the closest bar to get wi-fi so we could contact the owner - so if you don't want to waste time waiting at the door out on the street, make sure you ask for the wi-fi login and password beforehand! PS: yes, you can log in outside just by the door.

The location is perfect! All city center attractions can be reached on foot or really quick by car. The rooms themselves were quite clean. The stuff were really helpful and friendly as well.

One of the two rooms we booked constantly had the heating on (while it was +23-25 degrees outside). The stuff couldn’t fix it, it seemed to be broken. Also would be nice to have some minor amenities like shampoos, etc., but it didn’t really bother us. The building doesn’t have an elevator (wasn’t critical for us, but can be for someone).

Perfect location, a few minutes walk from Taxim square which is one of the main spots in Istanbul. It's located in an alley, so it's close enough to the crowds yet quiet and calm. There's a very affordable supermarket right next to the building. Room was clean, heater and water was warm. Owner was also really nice that he carried our luggages upstairs to our room. Very responsive in Whatsapp/call if we needed anything.

We were staying for 4 nights and on the 3rd night our room was cleaned without our request. It caught us off guard, owner should've contacted us first to see if we wanted our room to be entered and cleaned.

The location is perfect, everything is nearby and public transport is close too. The host was kind and was waiting for us when we arrived. It had everyting for a few nights stay. Shops and restaurants are close. We also had no problem with opening/closing the door (it is an old door but with a little fiddling it opens rather easily).

The property was not as new and perfect as shown in pictures. The room was a bit cold.

The location is the best. If you wish to see Istanbul just on walking, this is the best choice for you. You will feel the atmosphere of Istanbul and all the sights of the city is close to the hotel. No need to take a taxi or buses every time you go out. There are many cafes and restaurants with delicious Turkish food on the area. You better book this hotel.

The location is a prime location in Istanbul, central, and very close to the Metro, Istiklar Street, and other sightseeing attractions. These are basic rooms in a building, with a shower. There is no elevator, just stairs to the five floors. The room was clean, with plenty of fresh towels. Other than a kettle and a small fridge there are no other appliances (e.g. microwave or hot plate), so one has to go out for every meal. However, the area is full of coffee/ Turkish breakfast shops, restaurants, and bars. My suggestion to the owner is to put a reading lamp on the side tables.

We had a nice stay. Make sure you do not bring large suitcases because there is no elevator or lobby to keep it stored. We were initially confused and scared because we didn't know we had to call them to get the key, but once we figured it out, Aziz arrived in 5 minutes and made sure we were comfortable. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the location is next to a convenience store. It's a quick walk to istiklal street so you are never bored
