The property was very clean which is key! Shower was nice and powerful. The location was brilliant can get a bit noisy depending which room you are staying in

We had such a lovely experience at Union Hotel Plat Inn in Taksim! The staff was suuuper friendly, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed – from directions to local tips and even just a warm cup of coffee. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of typical Turkish options that changed slightly each day – fresh vegetables, cheeses, olives, eggs, and of course, Turkish tea 🫒🍅🥒🥯. It was the perfect way to start the day before exploring Istanbul. The location is also great – close to everything, yet in a quiet enough spot to get a good night's rest. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taksim! 🇹🇷🕌🌇

This hotel welcomed us so warmly from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with Turkish coffee and instantly made to feel comfortable. They even allowed us to check in early, which was a wonderful start. The breakfast was just greatttttt; a perfect way to start the day. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every possible way, the staff were truly amazing, warm, and always ready to assist with anything, whether it was finding places to visit or helping with hotel services. I’m extremely happy with my stay and will definitely return the next time I’m in Istanbul.

This new hotel is perfectly located in my favorite area of the city. The rooms are quiet, air conditioning works well. The breakfast was really nice: I was worried abt it after reading some reviews here but everything was fresh and warm, the staff filling in the hot dishes as fast as they can. And everything was fresh and tasty: veggies, bread, well-cooked eggs (omelette and hard boiled easy to peel). The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Free tea is provided 24/7! The hotel owner is present at the hotel and happy to assist and asking for feedback, which is very nice:)

A very cozy and beautiful hotel for couples and families. The rooms are very clean, and the service is great. Mr. Ahmad the owner, was available on daily basis and made sure that everything is going well. Thank you for your great hospitality, and all the best of luck. Ask for Abdullah 👍🏻 he is the breakfast guy, amazing.It is advised you book your room with breakfast. And when you book, take the delux room, a bit more expensive, but much better. The staff speakers several languages, so you have no issues in communication. Taksim street is 3 min walk. Lots of shops around to buy things. Highly recommend to stay there. Next visit, I'll make sure to stay there as well.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was spotless and very clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They took care of all our requests and gave great recommendations for places to visit. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport at a very fair price. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Istiklal Street, yet surprisingly quiet at night with no noise from the street. It is also one of the few areas with minimal hills, which made walking around very easy. Public transport options like the bus, tram, and metro are all close by. Breakfast was very good. Just make sure to go early to enjoy everything. I would definitely come back and stay again!

The stay at The Union Plat Inn Hotel was simply amazing. The hotel is located just off Istiklal Street in a quiet location. Such a location isn't the easiest to find and for us it was perfect as things were quiet at night. The stay was short, well, just under a week. But, it was simply amazing. We had organized a pickup at Sabiha Airport which was handled by the Seven Stars Limousine Service, which was nothing short of amazing. Upon arrival I was contacted by their representative various times while picking up/waiting for our bags. It was a bit overwhelming to be called multiple times asking where we were, but upon finding out that the frequent calls were based on the fact that the hotel contacted several times asking where we were was truly heartwarming. We got to the agreed upon place where we told to meet. This place was (super conveniently) sent to us via a WhatsApp video which showed us the exact location and where to meet. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Yelçin who went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. So, hats off to him and Muneeb (I hope I got that right). Yelçin was nice enough to arrange a room with a balcony which was absolutely cinvenient given the fact that I am smoker. The rooms were absolutely impeccably clean and the air condition was really a welcoming thing as the weather was very warm during our stay. The bathroom was really clean as well and came with everything one could ask for, including a shaving kit as well as soap and clean towels. It oh, also water (refilled daily) and a kettlenwith coffee, teanband sugar was supplied as well as a mini fridge. I had to get a suit ironed for the next morning but hadn't been to the exchange yet, and went to the convenient dry clean/ironing service right next door, where Yelçin briefly accompanied me to make sure nothing was lost in translation.

Location: Off busy streets like bar street (about 15 mins slopey walk), etc. Close enough to main area but far away enough to avoid the noise. 5 mins walk to Istiklal Street. Walking slopes that only fit one vehicle without sidewalks may be challenging to older folks. Hotel: Cab arranged by the hotel to the airport was a fair rate (to be paid in cash). Room conditions were well maintained and decently priced.

Location is SUPERB. 1 minute walk to Istiklal, 2 minutes to Taksim square. Hotel is in an alley which makes it away from the noise and traffic. Staff were super friendly especially NOURALLAH, the guy went above and beyond to help us with whatever he could. Very polite and decent. Overall the staff were helpful and attentive. Every-time we caller the reception to request anything they sent someone up to the room to fulfill it. Room service is very nice and organized, they left the room each time they came very neat and tidy. We found water bottles every single day at our floor’s counter ( for free ) for us to grab alongside with coffee, tea , and sugar packets. Overall.. Value for money is on point. Definitely happy with my luck choosing this hotel. Shower’s water was hot and cold perfectly and the water pressure was good ( portable shower head only )

Had a HUGE PROBLEM with the AC, as a person who’s used to sleeping with the ac on even if it’s freezing outside the ac was not working properly ( it was on fan mode ) and the air was warm. I couldn’t open the window because since the hotel is in an alleyway a passing motorcycle is enough to wake me up, and if I close the window, no sound enters, but no air as well so it was kind of a predicament that ended up with me not sleeping for the first two nights properly. They later fixed it, but again it stopped working for a day but then the hotel fixed it again. Toilets are relatively small, especially the sink.. it’s way small. Fixed shower head ( from the ceiling) water pressure was a bit weak.

I stayed at Union Plat Inn in Istanbul and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The rooms are spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything you might need – including excellent air conditioning, which made a huge difference during the warm days. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, and the owner is clearly passionate and hands-on, making sure everything runs smoothly without ever being overbearing. The location is also fantastic – close to major sights but tucked away just enough to offer a peaceful and relaxing stay. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel comfortable and well taken care of – highly recommend for anyone visiting Istanbul!
