There is nothing really to complain about, but just in case you need to know that: • There is no view. • The TV was not working in my room (101). • The access to the rooms is through the stair only. But I was totally fine with all of that :)

For many years and recently I had the pleasure of staying at Tulpan House, a fantastic appart hotel that always exceeds all my expectations. Really great stuff. As I had an early flight, they allowed me to check in earlier. Also, gave me their umbrella and let me leave my luggage after check out. For me service is way more important than how the hotel looks itself.

The room was super small and the walls are super thin. I could hear a neighbor throwing up all night. Still, for that price, you cannot find a better place to stay.

Enjoyed the stay very much! The location is just perfect - near Taksim metro and Havabus stop to both airports, few steps from Istiklal. The building is historical, the rooms are small but cozy. The owner Aleksandra is wonderful, very helpful and hospitable. I’ve stayed in several hotels in this area, but this is the first hotel I would stay again! Highly recommended!

It's very near Taksim square. Every day woman come and clean the room. Rooms are small but exelent for solo travelers.

Some noise come from the other rooms but it wasn't uncomfortable or bothering for me beouse I was just spending nights there.

We returned here to a central location close to Taksim Square and the famous Istiklal shopping street..quiet area with hospitable owners..we will return here with pleasure. Alexandra very kind to our requests..Congratulations!

The location is absolutely great - a small street just off Istiklal, seconds away from Taskim. The hotel has a true authentic feel, it feels a bit old, but in a charming way. Istanbul is right at your doorstep. At the same time, the street feels nice and residential - the first time I stepped out the door, three house cats curiously approached me to say hi, which felt very welcoming. Friendly staff, too.

There is a valet parking lot next to the hotel, so there's lots of car noises if that kind of thing bothers you. Also, you get the full whammy - both the sound from Taksim's main mosque is very clear in the room, but also from the Christian church next door. That's only at certain times of course, and I believe it greatly adds to the charm, but if you look for something particularly quiet at night, this might not be the best place for you.

Great apart-hotel. Everything was nice. Me and my friends would surely choose it again next time. Actually this is the fourth time I stay in this beautiful apart. because of its great location, great service, friendly staff and good value for the cost. The House of Tulpan is very comfortable and clean that you feel at home. I would definitely recommend it for all who I really care about. Thank you

very clean cozy room, not big in size, yet good a solo traveller. The hospitality was amazing, supportive and friendly staff. Location in the middle of taksim, accessible to everything. It’s not my first trip to Istanbul, and sure not the last, but The house of Tulpan is going to be on my top list and first choice for my next trip. highly recommended!
