I booked this place for the 29th of December to the 2nd of January, so as you know with the high demand for travel to Istanbul, I expected this place will be an average choice, but surprisingly enough, it was really good! with consideration of the money I spent and the class of property, staff treatment was much higher than I have anticipated and this was really important to me because every time I asked them for help they provide me with everything. In the beginning, we requested 1 king bed and 1 single bed, but after the check-in, we got 3 single bed options, so after speaking with them about this situation, they upgraded us to the big family room free of charge the same day. The quality of the beds was nice too. every day they came and clean the room and changed the bed sheets and towels as well. it needs to be said that when I asked them to help me with a reservation for a cruise ship for new year's eve, they handled everything and saved me a lot of time since there are so many scammers around and wanted to charge us more than what we should pay. The location was good for us as well, because if you are too close to Taksim square or even in that area unless you choose a really good hotel like Barcelo and other real 5-star hotels, you will face a lot of noise and fake hotel stars. I have been there a few times at those hotels and all of them were disappointing. I have to thank Mr. Suhail and the other receptionists for their great help and respectful treatment.

There were a few drawbacks as well. 1. elevators are not good at all, you just have to press the up and down buttons and wait for one of them to arrive and believe me, it's a long waiting... 2. breakfast is not a buffet, so you can not pick whatever you want, they provide you with whatever you ask them, but they are not limiting you, if you ask for more they will put it on your plate. 3. hallways of floors are a bit dark and smelly. the smell will not affect your room, but keep this in mind.

nice location on the Isteqlal street, nice view from the 7th floor where I could see the sea..wide rooms.. almost all the staff are fine. the staff on the breakfast are very helpfull and friendly. the lady who cleaned our rooms was very nice. the man downstairs at the reception was very friendly.

I have met 2 men on arrival with non professional attitude, they offer me a family connecting room at the ground floor which was very bad but I haven't seen them again during my stay. the AC only hot at that time and they explained to me that it's working cold on summer time although it was 22 c.. the WIFI is slow and interrupted.

I liked the location very much it is close to a bus station and has a shopping area very close to it. I liked also that they give you a big bottle of water daily. The room is quite spacious but maybe because we are a group of 3 people. Breakfast is nice

The view. The window also was stained by something from outside making it a little gross to look at. No strong sound insulation but you can sleep fairly comfortably. There was a smell coming from the bathtub but when we closed its opening on the floor it disappeared

The hotel was beautifully maintained and exceptionally well-located, with close proximity to Taksim, Nişantaşı, and the Cevahir Shopping Mall. The staff members—including those at the reception, in the dining area, the manager, and the owner—were all remarkably kind, professional, and attentive. Their hospitality significantly enhanced the overall experience. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. I would gladly recommend this accommodation to others.

I had a wonderful stay at Taksim Express Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my visit truly comfortable. A special thank you to Mr. Burak and Idrus for their outstanding hospitality and kindness—they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I look forward to returning soon!

The place itself was nice. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to help whenever the need arises. They were always helpful. At least there should have been some english channel on the TV.

The breakfast was not so good. It lack a variety of fresh fruits and fried eggs; omelette, bacon. (English breakfast)

Property is on a good location, very clean, staff are wonderful

Our air conditioner is not working good. We had it checked twice, but still warm inside the room

The location of the property was perfect for a tourist to explore Istanbul on their own since it is on the main road and bus stops and metro station was just a walking distance. The staff were very friendly especially Mr.Sameer from the reception. He can speak fluent English and helped us with almost everything we needed.

If there were more English speaking staff it would be better for tourists to communicate otherwise it becomes very difficult to explain what we need.

Staff! Samir at the reception took care of everything, so he is best thing of this hotel. fixed a good room to look over bosphore, since we came for new year. Also he ordered food delivery, since there was no food available for us, arriving at 21h. So that was superb from his part. Also fixed a taxi and everything.

Breakfast is basic... Good for a day or two. I missed having true buffet breakfast, not beeing ask what I want from buffet. rooms are weared down, but clean, so overall ok. Beds maybe a bit soft for my taste, but still ok...

Personal was super friendly, but except person at reception, almost no one speaks english which make understadning really hard. Hotel is with great location - near to transport, Texim square, food and drinks and evertything that you need. We will comeback mostly because of Burak Yazıcı - Front desk shef!

Bathrooms need to be cleaned a bit more diligently! Our rooms were not free when we come, so they need to move one of us at 2 different rooms. One of them hasnt king size bad, we add it our reseravation.
