Once the building next to the hotel will be finished everything will be going back to normal, now it is a little noisy some times.

The hotel is in a great location, within easy reach of the main sightseeing spots. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was enjoyable. The single room, while compact, is quite spacious and comfortable. Plus, having an elevator is a great convenience.

The walls are quite thin, so a lot of noise can be heard from both the hallway and neighboring rooms. The heating is electric, and the housekeeper would turn it off while I was away, so I often returned to a cold room. Additionally, drinking water was provided only on the day of check-in.

The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and always ready to help, which made me feel truly welcome. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. The hotel itself is very clean, and our room was cleaned daily, which I really appreciated. The location is perfect – it's not on the main street, so it's peaceful, yet it's very close to the tram and Marmaray station, making it easy to get around. Everything you need is within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, we walked everywhere and used the tram about 3 times. We had a large room with balcony and a nice big bathroom with separate shower and a huge bath. I loved the shower with great jet of hot water, The breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed the local food very much, there was a choice of hot and cold food. Staff were really friendly.

The hotel organized an airport pick up and drop of, the driver on the way to the airport was constantly watching some TV show on his mobile or was holding the mobile to his ear while driving, which was absolutely unacceptable. To Sabina both ways was 90 euros.

Lovely staff. The room had a window that opened and let in natural light making the room very pleasant. It was a bit small (especially the bathroom), but worked for me on my own.

No place to put luggage. No table or desk. The elevator has just broken down and would take 20 days to repair. This was a problem for me as some medication I was taking caused weakened leg muscles and affected my balance. The stairs were spiral and quite narrow (only an inch in the corners!) and the room was on the second floor. I did okay with the first flight, but the second flight had no railing. This was especially scary going down. Also, the automatic lights did not always come on in a timely manner, so stairs were quite dim. If not for the stairs, it would have been a lovely stay.

Exceptional service! The staff, especially Hassan and the lady at the restaurant, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay at this budget-friendly, family-oriented hotel, which is conveniently within walking distance of major tourist attractions. The T1 metro line is also easily accessible via the Gulhane station. Plus, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and a great addition to our stay package.

Although we experienced a brief shower water disruption one morning and the room heater wasn’t very warm, everything else was excellent.

We really appreciated the welcome and availability of all the staff, always with a smile. Mr. Mustafa Kamel took good care of us. The hotel is very well located to visit all the tourist sites in Istanbul. At the same time, it was quiet and calm, so we could take rest when needed. The tram station is a few minutes' walk away and there is everything you need on the shopping street. The breakfast was good with nice choices of fresh home made salads etc. We spent six nights there and we will keep very good memories of this stay in this family hotel. If we have the chance to return to Istanbul, it will definitely be in this hotel.

Everything was perfect except a wifi problem we had at times, in the room probably because of the construction work going on near by. The wifi worked well in the lobby. Anyway, we had to buy extra internet to move around the city, so this wasn't a major problem.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Special thanks to Mustafa Kamal for his outstanding service and warm hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations for local attractions, their service was impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

I had the best ever stay at Tayahatun Hotel, absolutely wonderful. From the min I arrived, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were amazing, their exceptional hospitality made my stay the best. Bekir sorted my transfer and then gave me a travel card and directions to get around as I had arrived late from the airport and was running late for a tour I'd booked. Brilliant recommendations to everything I needed. It was in a beautiful colourful street, such a gorgeous area and within walking distance to all the main attractions. Gorgeous breakfast. My room was huge for myself as a solo traveller, absolutely perfect and I had free water in the fridge which was a plus in the hot weather. I also met Mustafa, who was on shift later on, and he helped me when I'd fallen while out sightseeing, such a wonderful kind person. I look forward to staying again when I am in Istanbul.

This hotel is in a great location - close to shops, restaurants and public transport. The breakfast was buffet style with most things such as bread, spreads, cereal, juice, olives, cheese etc staying the same but a few other dishes that would change each morning. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating - they even prepared an earlier breakfast for those of us fasting! Also the beds were comfy and the cleaning was thorough and done daily. Would highly recommend!
