Great location, walking distance to almost all the touristy things, and if not, there's a tramway that gets you to the other side of the river, towards Karakoy. The spa is nice an calm. It has Sauna, Steam room, Indoor pool (and outside though it's only for summer) and a turkish bath room. The rooms are good size and everything is comfortable. Very practical to have a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast included with lots of variety

Constructive criticism: The spa : The lockers should have a key, it feels better to leave your belongings in a safe place. The steam room had a bit of a moldy smell. I think a water dispenser like the one you have in the breakfast area would be nice down there, the "juice bar" was empty. The rooms : We put up the "Clean our room please" sign on the door, and the person only took out the trash and replaced the shampoo bottles. They didn't really clean it. (Otherwise the room was spotless when we first got to the hotel) The breakfast : It has a lot of variety though not so much for fruits.. only some melon or prunes. Depending on the day. The fresh orange juice machine was only for decoration apparently.

We booked for the outdoor pool and it was closed for a refurb, which we didn’t know until after we’d prepaid and couldn’t get refund. Rooms quite small

Spa: The spa is not work properly The steam shower was broken. The pool and the jacuzzi was cold. The turkis haman was clean but not hot enough The terraze is in renovation. No view Nothing is clarified before we arrived. I book a hotel spa but not really a full functional spa. Only the sauna was working but too many people inside Breakfast: they charge you 3 euro for a glass of orange juice. Not fresh fruit. Only apples

Very good hotel. I would like to thank Emre, Kadir, Yasin and Seyma for their exceptional service. Travelled as a family of 14. Some issues initially with parents being put in a room with no window and another room not adequate however Emre quickly moved them to a suitable room the next morning. The cleanliness is to a good standard. Breakfast is OK. Usual eggs, meats, cheese and fruits, nothing fancy. Pool small however kids loved it and OK for a dip after long day sightseeing and choice of 2 pools. Sauna also good. Steam room could do with a revamp. Old looking didn't always work and didn't look clean. Location excellent. Central to all major sight only issue is taxis cannot always get in during busy periods. I would stay here again if visiting Istabul.

The customer service is top notch. Everything is explained clearly and staff are friendly and polite. The location is very good. It is in walking distance to the main high street and you wont need a car. The breakfast is mediocre. It has loads of salad and sauces but lacks protein options and food runs out quickly. The coffee machine is great but kept breaking down so maybe worth having two. The lounge and bar area are cosy. The facilities are a good price and definitely worth trying. We tried the sauna which we loved. Plus theres a pool and jacuzzi.

The parking is not great. There is a limit to one car park. We asked for toilet roll and it was never given so one thing missed. The wifi was not very strong at times.

Location is absolutely amazing, easy access to metro, tram and ferry just 5minute walk away

I recently stayed at Orka Royal Hotel and had an excellent experience, rating it a 9 out of 10. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a perfect setting for relaxation. The hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. We were a big family of more than 20 people, and all were happy with the service and cooperation, we've been there for 2 weeks. I highly recommend Orka Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We are delighted with our stay at the Orka Royal Hotel. The hotel has a cultural atmosphere. The staff are nice, pleasant, unobtrusive, helpful and ready to help at all times, especially the lovely and smiling Guzra, who was there to coordinate and ensure everything ran smoothly and perfectly. We had a beautiful and comfortable room, it was cleaned every day and the bed linen was changed every other day. There was nothing to disturb our vacation. The location is ideal. This is our eighth visit to Istanbul and first time in this hotel. We will definitely come back to Orka Royal Hotel.

Gym: The gym is fully equipped and highly appreciated, especially by the students, offering ample space and the necessary equipment for exercise. Additional Services for Extra Cost: The hotel offers body massages, a hair salon, and a barbershop at an additional cost, all located on the lower level of the hotel. Location was great plenty of places to eat in the area , close to major attractions , tram line shops and port Good facilities , swimming pool , sauna , steam room Surprisingly really quiet for how busy the area is . Hotel staff very friendly and helpful

Small rooms , low ceilings , and very dark , not enough lighting in the room and bathrooms not having decent lighting made the room feel even more smaller and does not help when the wife is trying to put make up on for a wedding . Breakfast could be very much improved , buffet breakfast but when things finished it took ages for them to refill . No variety either and it’s the one thing that really needs looked at . Also the building work outside wasn’t great , which is not the hotels fault.
