I came to Istanbul for the first time, and loved this hotel, both for its excellent location in Sirkeci, and the staff and facilities. My room was quiet, clean and charming, just what I wanted for exploring the city on a budget and having somewhere to rest as well with AC. I'd recommend the private bathroom. There are no elevators, but you get used to the stairs pretty quickly - it's a good warmup for the streets of Istanbul afterwards. I arrived at 6am and was allowed early checkin as requested, and got help with my luggage/adapters/questions etc. Residents were polite, and Mohammad at the reception was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, as well as the owners. The restaurants, shops and stations around make for a colorful, lively and laid back area, super convenient during the day or late at night. Chef Ramo right next door is great for eating and chilling as you plan your day. The hotel will also help you book taxis if you need.

The staff of the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is amazing as it is close to almost every major attraction in Istanbul. Sultanahmet is just 5 minutes on feet so as Topkapi and Istanbul Archeology museums. Also, it is very close to Eminonu, where you can use the ferries to go to other ports in Istanbul.

Everything was good about this hotel. I only wish if the curtains in the room were more thick or dark colored because a lot of light passes in morning.

Great location in Fatih/Serkeci, Istanbul. Good price too. We were given a room on the First Floor luckily, because the hotel doesn't have an elevator. Hot shower and room radiator (heater) available.

The A/C (as a heater set to 27-30'C) wasn't working Room is pretty small and congested. But then again the price is okay considering how expensive is Turkiye nowadays.

I was a solo female traveller and stayed in the single room with shared bathroom. I felt very safe staying here! Room was basic but extremely clean and comfortable with aircon and personal sink. Shared bathroom facilities always in a clean condition too. The staff were lovely, particularly Mohammad who made me feel very welcome :-)

The location is central but be aware very touristy and restraunts around the area are expensive.

The location is great! 10 mins walk to main visiting points. and it is very close the the nice garden and seaside. Besides, 3 mins walk to 2 tram station, 1 mamaray station and also 1 port, which give great convenience to go to anywhere. It is shared bathroom but it is very clean all the time, hot water 24hrs. I am satisfied with what i pay for. Staff are nice.

the facilities in both the room and the bath room is a little bit old. no elevator.

The location 100%close to all old city tourist spots,3 minutes walking to Sirkeci and Gulhane tram stations,the location next to eminonu ferry terminal,The staff very attentive and helpful especially the owner of hotel,Respect to him.

My room was at 4th floor and the property has no lift. But this was no issue. The staffs were very helpful and carried the luggage when I checked in and out. The location was excellent. The price was consistent. (Some other hotels I had been to doubled/tripled their price in some days thus I had to move hotel. Yeni was the third hotel in my 5 night/6 days trip in Istanbul) the room was nice in size and with open window view. The hotel overall has good Turkish vibes. I will stay at Yeni for sure if I visit Istanbul again.

The bathroom and toilet need to be shared. The sink is at the hall way. A bit inconvenience.

The staff was friendly, the location was nice because you are close to everything. The airco was nice, it was really refreshing coming to the room because it was so hot outside.

I slept on the top floor and there were pigeons on the roof constantly and they made a lot of noise keeping me up sometimes. There could also be more toilet paper in the toilets.

Location!!! Restaurant are everywhere around the area, near to major tourist spot, plus Tram, Metro and Ferry station are just walkable! Bonus for the staff that are so accommodating. They let me check inn as early as 11am (straight from the airport) and check out (late) at 12pm before my local flight to Nevsehir and let me leave my (Big) luggage at their Luggage storage for few days while I am in Cappadocia.

Thougn I am aware that it was an Old building and lift is not available, that’s the only disadvantage I saw in the property. And if only they can place an electric kettle (specially in the 4th floor) during winter it would be great! Than going up and down just to have hot water for tea/coffee specially you’re in the 4th floor. 😬 Full body mirror in the hall way would do better if possible as well.
