The location of the property is really good. It’s within walkable distance to Sultanahmet area, and galata tower. The triple rooms are decent sized and were cleaned everyday by the lovely housekeeping lady. The lady made the rooms look spotless everyday and would always greet us very nicely (a-lot more cheerful than the reception staff). The breakfast had a good variety. The reception staff helped us arrange a transfer which was very smooth. You can also visit the hamam and the sauna once.

The hotel doesn’t look as big as it does In the pictures. The breakfast dining area is quite small. The double rooms are on the small side. One of the bulb was broken so it was really dark in the room. There was also a big dent in the wall and the headboard was ripped from one side.

We were really satisfied with our stay at Diamond Royal Hotel. In our opinion, the room was just what we needed – nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, with a large and very comfortable bed. Housekeeping came every single day, and everything was always tidy and fresh, which we truly appreciated. Every morning we had a rich buffet breakfast, with plenty of variety – both hot and cold options. We never left hungry, and it gave us a great start to each day. From our point of view, the location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s right in the very center of Istanbul, just a few steps away from Sirkeci station and all major transport links – tram, train, ferry. We were able to reach all the main sights by foot: Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Spice Bazaar, and the Bosphorus shore. For us, the atmosphere was also important – and the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated that they were available for any questions or assistance, even with local tips. Overall, this place suited us perfectly – we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

If I had to mention one thing that we didn’t particularly enjoy, it would be the street atmosphere outside the hotel. Since the location is right in the historic center, the area is packed with restaurants – which is convenient, but it also means that there are many people outside trying to attract tourists into their places. Walking past them sometimes felt a bit overwhelming, as they were quite persistent.

Everything was perfect – I loved every moment of it!

Great location, close to main attractions + in the other direction some more local and cheaper restaurants Warm rooms (even the bathroom had a towel heating rack) and large breakfast buffet including fresh veggies to choose from 🥗 Ali at the front desk is friendly and happy guy, I can tell he enjoys life ! Thank you for the stay, definitely recommend this place 🙂

Location. The location was absolutely spot on! All the main attractions were within walking distance and there was an abundance of shops and restaurants minutes away. I even got my mobile phone repaired nearby. 5 Star, 11 out of ten. Room. The room was very nice and comfortable with an amazing shower which made me want to shower all the time. The rooms were regularly cleaned and professionally done. The mini bar was convenient and not at all expensive. The bed was very comfortable which led to restful sleep. Breakfast. Breakfast was OK but not spectacular. although there was quite a variety, it was not the hot breakfast version although I was a bit adventurous. Spa. We had a massage and Hammam which was extremely relaxing and well worth the money.

There was nothing that I did not like but the breakfast could be better. We visited in March so it was fairly easy to move around but I suspect in the high season it will be a bit crowded. If you have a room that overlooks the Main Street, we enjoyed the view but it might become a bit noisy.

Hospitality, very clean hotel, stuff was super friendly and assisted on everything, especially great thanks to Mr. Ali, he is such a good hearted person and very friendly. The breakfast was very good, room had a minibar which is very rear to find in hotels in Istanbul. Overall 10/10! Definitely will stay there again

Duration of the stay, if I knew that the hotel was so good I would book for more days.

Perfect location close to public transports, lively streets with restaurants but quiet in the evening (minor noise came through at night). Staff were very happy to help with hotel matters but also giving advice on where to go and how to get there! Very comfy room as well, and they also offer Turkish bath experience (but I didn't take up on this service).

Some curtains were down and we had to put them back up ourselves to not be woken up by the sun (but we didn't ask if they could do it).

I don’t know what people expect more than this I stay 4 nights with my family with 2 kids best hotel ever value for money 💰 best location to explore Istanbul hotel is nice and clean staff is amazing helpful seriously if you are coming with family or yourself don’t listen to ppls too much just book this hotel I promise you will not gonna be disappointed.

Good mattress, warm room, shower with strong flow of water. We loved the impressive decorations around the hotel and in the room. Ali the host was very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Also the location is great as it's in the heart of the city.

We had a great sleep. It didn't wake us up. But little feedback to hotel. The noise from walking from room above was very evident in the morning.It seems the structure of the ceiling is very thin. It's just when we woke up then we could hear a lot of walking from above. But all good.
