Friendly and helpful staff. Calm number; we were surprised with the number of guests at the breakfast - we did not hear anyone while inside the room!

Meals at breakfast do not have descriptions - not clear the components and allergies. Breakfast could have more meat products. The floor in the shower is slippery. Flasks with shower gel and shampoo are set quite high for not tall people. In general, bathroom could be cleaned more thoroughly. I understand that this is because the building is historical; but it took some time to navigate through the labyrinth of corridors while going to the elevator or the room.

Location was superior. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was not as expected. I was expecting more diversified breakfast and more continental. I guess breakfast is good for Arab taste but for sure not for European taste.

Rooms clean. Staff friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was good for options. Good showers with hot water.

Pool area not cleaned. Sauna, -2 level bathroom dirty. Turkish bath unusable. Not as advertised.

The property is located in a great area, which is close to public transport, tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped us locate an open pharmacy on a public holiday, and the staff were always welcoming and friendly. There were great food selections. Although at times the hot food needed a little more time to warm up, there were also freshly cooked eggs and plenty of options too select, so we were very satisfied with the offerings. A great experience!

Not much. I note that some of the facilities like the gym and pool cost extra to use but we were too busy sight seeing to use them.

The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to all the places of interest. The staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast was excellent, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was top-notch. The location is perfect, with easy access to city sights – the metro station is right next door, and the tram stop is just a short walk away. We opted for Haveist for airport transportation, and the metro and tram made getting around a breeze. Most major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and Topkapi Palace are within walking distance. A word of advice: while the location is great, watch out for the pricey restaurants on the street where Maywood is located. Instead, head to places like Meşhur Filibe Köftecisi in the Hocapasha area for more budget-friendly dining options.

It would have been good if the hotel gave us complimentary water bottles instead of chargable water bottles.

The hotel is in the heart of istanbul near the train and tram , The staff was very kind and always smiling especially the receptionist in the morning , I had a problem in my room and he proposed me another room for me and for my parents it was very kind and helpful also when my driver was late he called him with the hotel phone and talk to him in turkish , also the hotel was very clean and the cleaning staff was very professional, Thanks Maywood for the gifts and the wonderful stay. No baklava for breakfast

The hotel is in a good central location with short walks to the tram stops, railway station and ferries. The Grand Bazzar and Mosques are also within easy walking distance. The hotel staff are extremely helpful. There is a good and plentiful choice for breakfast to set you up for the day. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is very good double glazing to keep outside noise to a minimum.

The only issue is the shower which had a very slippery floor and a shower mat would be useful.

I really loved my stay here. The staff were so friendly and kind and they even let me leave my luggage for an hour after check out which was a big help. When I couldn’t figure out how to use the keycard, even though it was literally just tapping, they helped me without the slightest hint of annoyance. There is also a cute parrot in the lobby and a swimming pool which is such a nice bonus. The room was spotless and honestly looked like it had never been used and they cleaned it to that standard every single day. I really loved this hotel and would definitely stay again.Also the location is perfect! So central and close to public transport. Can even walk easily to sightsee!
