The Best Town Hotel is, bar none, the perfect location from which to explore ALL of historic Istanbul. Must-see sites and excursions on water are all within walking distance. The best, though, was the staff! Ali and Yiğit were attentive and most helpful. They answered our queries quickly and effectively. And all with a smile. We are demanding guests and only have praise for the polite, kind attention received. Amenities are more than adequate: clean, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, towels galore. Perfect.

Better aeration needed although our front facing balcony door opened and allowed for a breeze. WIFI reception could be better but it could be a Istanbul city-wide problem on which the hotel depends but cannot control.

Excellent location: through Gulhane Park with parrots and herons in the trees you can go to the sea (to the left) and to Sultanahmet (to the right); there are many shops and cafes on the street nearby; not far from the Galata Bridge, the Eminonu piers and the spice market. Friendly staff, especially Abdul Rahman, who was concerned about our stay at the hotel; 24-hour reception; elevator; external fire escape. Normal breakfasts. A very pleasant modest maid does daily cleaning, water is brought to the room daily. The room has a small refrigerator, a kettle, cups and a set of tea-coffee-sugar, soap and shampoo, slippers. Comfortable beds, very warm. Keep in mind that the water is very ! dries the skin and you will need moisturizers for the body and hair.

There were some shortcomings in the room, such as a non-working socket for the kettle and no door in the shower. I missed local lighting near the bed.

Parking wasn’t part of the hotel property. It was some private parking that wasn’t properly marked and fenced. Some random guy showed up and said that he need to take our car key because there is no space, so that he can move our car if needed. We received no paper, no invoice, nothing. He only said “no worries” and that’s it. We picked up the car 20 minutes later, and there was some other guy who didn’t even know who we are and which car was ours, so we basically could take any car key that was in the box (he said “pick the key”). Highly unprofessional. All keys were in the tourist agency, next to the parking, which is not related to the hotel. It is better to say that hotel doesn’t have parking, than to call this a hotel parking.

Excellent location: Within walking distance from almost every major tourist attraction on the southern European side of the city. Amazing staff: Extremely friendly and hospitable, you see they really care about their customers. Breakfast was fantastic too. Diverse, delicious, and freshly served.

Our room was too small for two persons and wasn’t properly ventilated. You couldn’t shut the window because then the air would become stuffy. Leaving the window open would make the room too cold at night cause we were traveling in February. The bathroom could also use a fan.

Great location, close to the main objectives. The view was amazing - we could see the Bosphorus and Galata Tower. Breakfast was included in the price and it was very tasty and diverse. The room was good. Totally worth the money!

Most of the staff didn't really understand English so we had to explain three times we don't need a shuttle to the airport but they were still very nice about it. The shower door didn't close completely. The ceiling in the bathroom had some mold which wasn't very pleasant - but the smell doesn't bother you if you close the door. Still, it should be fixed.

The location was excellent - within walking distance to many attractions and just a short Uber ride to others. It was tucked away in a small alley, making it much quiter compared to places on the main road. It was a charming boutique hotel with only two rooms per floor, which significantly minimized noise inside the hotel, exceeding expectations. The receptionist, Abdulrahman, was friendly and very helpful, making the stay easy and conformtable.

There was a slight strange smell in the bathroom, but it was manageable by using the bathroom fan and ocasionally opening the balcony for fresh air.

I really like the all staff, they have been very helpful very kind ,polite ,and I would like to thank Mr Jalal ,Mr Fadel he really made our stay in the Hotel easier, he was very helpful, I liked that the staff speaks Arabic and English rather than Turkish which no one of us understand. . And I did recommended this hotel to my friends and they are happy to book for the next holiday .thank you again.

It’s in the city centre near all trams. You can go easily anywhere. Most of the staff are professional, they did their best to help. Room is spacious compared to usual rooms in Istanbul. Breakfast is ok. I enjoyed mostly the hot food.

The only thing that I didn’t like about the property is that the toilet has a nasty smell especially in the morning but that’s because the building is kinda old.

Location and the furniture that gave it a fancy look despite being a rather humble place. The rooms had Elevator access. I loved the easy walking access to places and centrality of it. The staff held onto my luggage as I went shopping around to bring more stuff. I felt safe there, as a single woman traveling alone and even though the room had tall glass windows that opened to the outer staircase.

The outside view from my room was not very clean...there was trash on the roofs :( It gave me a sick feeling. The wifi connection was not the best.

Staff were very friendly, polite, helpful and welcoming, especially Mr. Ahmed. They helped us very much scheduling a journey to Sapanga, gave us a very good price. Room service was very good too. Location was marvelous, neighborhood was great, shops, tram, restaurants, gift-shops. walking in the neighborhood, was very nice, sitting at the bosphorus, the Gulhane park is very near and very beautiful.

Breakfast area and tables was limited and small Coffee was not good quality we had many tap water cut, or very weak.
