I think it is the best in this money range in this location, breakfast was good, room was clean, all receptionists are helpful, furniture is good for sleeping, you donot want the more luxury bedrooms in istanbul, as most of time u r outside, bathroom was clean and ok

Some noisy over night

We found a double room at a very good price and booked it. It was a value for money option. The staff were very kind, with excellent behavior. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The location of the hotel is excellent. There are many dining options around the hotel. You also have various means of transport around you for your travels.

The room was a bit small, like all hotels in this area. Also in general it was quite clean, it just needs a little renovation in some things. However, this in no way affected our stay. The behavior of the staff was so good that even if there was a negative, we just ignored it.

Great hotel. Very good employees. Everything is clean. This is the third time we are staying there. Repairs have been made there now. My daughter had health problems and they helped us and took her to the hospital. We are very grateful. A wonderful restaurant on the first floor We advise everyone

Everything is perfect

The room I had booked was rather small. Once I realized it, tried to change it for a bigger one a couple of months before arrival but was not possible. However, once I arrived and talked in person to the receptionist, he gave me a bigger room with a double and bed. The room itself was about 40% bigger than the one with 2 single beds plus had a window with a view to the street. Besides, I was not charged any additional money for the bigger room.

I did not appreciate the fact that the lobby and reception of the hotel was completely remodeled so the whole entrance was a construction mess. Too bad it coincided with my stay. I suppose in a couple of months it will be all different once the job is finished. I suppose they will also fix several maintenance issues inside and outside the rooms. The hot water went off a couples of times but no big deal.

Very comfortable and clean place, inside touristik streets. Very friendly personnel, ready to help with any questions. Nearby is public transport, but no windows on big street. Room is very light, good shower. Good breakfast. Very close to main sites and Bosfor.

A bit tricky to find place, inside small side-streets, but people around helped us. Located behind "point otel' sign.

I really like the street this hotel is settled in, it is very lively and has lots of nice restourants and bars. It was also very close to everything we wanted to see in Istanbul. This place is perfect for people who plan to spend a lot of time outside and just need a place to sleep and shower. The rooms were very warm and the beds were comfy. You can have them clean your room everyday if you wan to.

The room was a bit small, we bearly had some space to open our suitcases. Breakfast is standard, it could be better.

Its my second time in Istanbul and I was surprised by the experience myself. I liked service from receptionist Ahmed. He was very helpful. He arranged the tours for me and helped me buy cheap turkish delight. He also helped by recommending me restaurants that are cheap and have good food. He also helped me with getting a sim card and istanbul card. Every time he would ask me if everything was alright. I am glad I chose hatay hotel. Its in the heart of old Istanbul which is good. I like staying in this area of istanbul.

Everything is almost perfect. Location of the hotel is excellent as you will find everything like restaurants, shops, various means of transport around the hotel. The staff was very kind, cooperative and ready to help 24/7. The breakfast buffet was also satisfactory. Special thanks to brother Ahmed who helped us a lot during our stay at this hotel. For sure, I would like to stay again here.

Nothing

The hotel has good location, near tramway station. Next to Gulhane park and many other attractions. During my stay, there was renovation, was a little “moments” but staff solved it very fast. Highly recommend old hatay

air conditioner was a little “lazy”. it needed 2-3 minutes to activate.

Old Hatay hotel was a great deal for the money considering its location and price ratio. The man at the front desk was exceptional! He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and answer our questions. Big thanks for his service! The breakfast was OK, basic things like eggs, bread, cheese, butter, and salami which I don’t eat anyway as a vegetarian. The location is very central and close to many tourist attractions and the metro and tram stations.

We found hair that wasn’t ours in the toilet. The cleanness of the hotel should be improved.
