Staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was great, lots of different options and daily variations of breads, hot foods and sweets Room was a good size, clean, comfortable bed, air con, fridge (plus bottled water provided daily) and plenty of room to store and hang clothes etc. Location was great, walking distance to major attractions, tram stops, local ferries. Lots of places to eat nearby. Ideal for first time visiting Istanbul.

Bit noisy - some street noise (including calls to prayer early in the morning) as could be expected (shutting the windows helps) and also sounds from other rooms with people walking/ talking. I always use earplugs because I'm a light sleeper so didn't find it a big issue, but partner doesn't and found it noisy to sleep at times. Our room didn't have much of a view but we didn't book expecting a view (plus we got to watch the various cats of Istanbul walking by across the roofs instead!)

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to both reception staff Korhan and Serka for meeting requests, ensuring the guest's comfort and providing services immediately...and the kind man Mohammed who provides services, carrying the bags with great care and attention, and Kamla for her remarkable effort in cleaning the rooms daily and providing changes. I cannot forget to thank Ozlem for her delicious dishes that she serves at breakfast. Everything in this hotel is wonderful, valuable, beautiful and comfortable.

The location, near the Sirkeci train station and the Gálata bridge, and also not far from Grand Bazar, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque, among other places of interesse. The room was not big, but was confortable. The staff, very friendly, always available to help and to provide al our needs. There was always a surprise wen we returned to the room, tea, coffe, fruit.

I didnt like the restaurants on the same street of the hotel, especialy the one named "Haci Beyaz Chef", they are cheaters, on a dinner of 17 euros, they over charge the price of the meals with the pretext, with the excuse of some kind of taxes that dont exist, they tried to over charge more 15 euros, on the right price of the meal, and after I complain, they decresed for 10 euros. The food was not very good also. Atached is the photo of the restaurante to avoid.

Located in Sirkeci, Mr. Bird Hotel offers an excellent location, providing easy access to many of Istanbul's top attractions. To the south, you can explore Sultanahmet, and to the southwest, the Grand Bazaar is just a 15-minute walk away. The Galata Tower is situated to the north, about a 30-minute uphill walk, and in the same direction, you’ll find the harbor within 15 minutes, where you can take a Bosphorus tour or ferries to the Asian side. The hotel's neighborhood is vibrant and packed with local cuisine, offering plenty of dining options. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast served is excellent. My room was spacious and clean, with a bathroom that had good shower pressure. Overall, I highly recommend Mr. Bird Hotel for its great value, comfortable accommodations, and prime location.

My room was on the first floor facing the front, which made it a bit noisy at times.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff were very helpful. They even helped us on how to take public transport to our other hotel. Highly recommend it for visiting the historical sites in fateh district. Tram, bus, and metro were only 2 minutes' walk. All breakfast items were homemade. Air conditioning is very cold. The room was very clean, and I did not see any type of insects during my 2 nights stay.

There's nothing to point out.

The hotel is very close to the higher end restaurants as well as the budget friendly ones. The room looks beautiful and clean with all the basic amenities. Mohammed always above and beyond for the hotel guests. He overheard our conversation about Turkish coffee and without any hesitation he offer to make fresh Turkish coffee for us. Samir, at the front desk is also very helpful. He even showed me where to get the best mandarins.

The hotel is just perfect if you look for the following: * Location * Cleanness * Comfort * Friendly and helpful staff The hotel is located on the best possible location. Just next to the train station. Just next to the tram stops. Just 5 minutes to all the boats from Eminonu. Just 5-10 mins from Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque. Surrounded by many restaurants, cafés and shops, but located on a relatively calm and not so noisy street. For us, the cleanness is really important and we found it here. Our room was perfect size. The bed is big enough for two persons and it was comofortable. The bath was perfect size also. All the staff is really friendly and helpful. They managed our parking in the best possible way. Keep manage that place in the best manner. I definitely recommend it.

Everything was perfect.

The location - very close to the train station, the tram, the pier, and some of the city's major attractions. Breakfast was good. The hotel gives a complimentary bottled water and surprised me with a complimentary plate of fruits. The staff are friendly and helpful. They can arranged transfer to or from the airport.

Wish the lighting in the room a bit brighter. Not really complaining because most times were spent outside.

Located steps from the Sirkeci train station, the first train station to connect the European and Asian continents. Also near the tram station and yet still be on a quiet lane - this is a unique place of respite. It's an easy walk to many hotspots such as the Gulhane Park, Spice Bazaar and all the shops in between. The room is cozy with good sound proofing and facilities that work. The rain shower was great, hot water plenty. I enjoyed the breakfast very much...simple spread a mix of western and local fare with juices, soft warm bread, fruits and a surprising variety of cheeses. There are only 2 units per floor, so it's your luck if you get a noisy neighbour otherwise it's rather tranquil. Their elevator is a unique contraption too.

The bathroom drainage is rather slow, so a shower can flood the stall fast.

Mr. Bird was located in a fantastic location surrounded by stores, markets and restaurants. It is 1 block from the T1 tram stop and and the Marmary metro station. It is walking distance to all the major attractions in the old town. It is a little off the main street so its not that loud if you get a higher floor room. The rooms are nice and comfy as is the bathroom.

I was on the first floor on the front side and you can hear everything that happens in the lobby.
