I have visited Istanbul frequently, and this hotel is my top choice so far. The rooms are exceptionally clean, beautiful, and tranquil—far exceeding expectations for a hotel in an area where most hotels have outdated interiors and lackluster hospitality. I would return to this hotel every time I visit Istanbul. The location is excellent, and the amenities are outstanding. Even if you opt not to have your room cleaned, they still leave water bottles at your door daily! I was particularly impressed by the kindness of Mr. Dawoud, who welcomed me warmly and lifted my spirits after a disappointing experience at another hotel. Thank you. You are truly one of the finest hotels in Istanbul.

I stayed at the Old Port Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is a pleasant place and in good location that is connected to major sightseeing and public transportation. The room is also equipped with all you need for your stay, e.g. amenities, drinking water, wardrobe, good shower system, TV, mini-fridge, etc. The two hotel staff that I met during my stay were very helpful and also responsive to my queries that I sent before my arrival. I would recommend Old Port Hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Sultanahmet area.

We booked this hotel at a very short notice because we were trying to change accommodations last minute and leave a terrible apartment we were at first. The booking process was smooth, and David, who worked the reception that day, let us check-in hours before the actual check-in time. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel - the room was big, meticulously clean, it had everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable; water pressure was great; bottled water, tea and coffee were provided for free every day. The location cannot be beat - it's right in the heart of the historic Sultanahmet district with plenty of restaurants, shops nearby, and all major sights within walking distance. And despite the hotel being on the main strip - which is a very busy road with trolleys passing by all the time - the room was quiet thanks to the well insulated windows. The breakfast was ample and delicious every day. But most importantly - we were treated like dear guests, with nothing but kindness, everyone from reception, room cleaning and kitchen was friendly and approachable. I would like to especially distinguish David - he went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, thank you, David!

Internet was a bit slow, but everything else was exceptional!

This is my second time staying at Old Port Hotel, and once again, it was a great experience. This time, I came with my brothers, who also appreciated the spacious rooms and overall comfort of the stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. A special thanks to Dawoud, the wonderful receptionist who, as always, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He is attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring—his presence truly adds to the positive experience at the hotel. Honestly, Dawoud is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Thanks to the entire team. Property is cozy, clean and well maintained. Staff members are amazing especially Mr.Dawood at reception. He could not do enough for you. Thanks Mr.Dawood. Area is amazing with all the food shops and metro line just under two minutes walk away from the hotel.

Only If you are travelling on a long hall fight with a large size baggage, room size can be an issue. Also no Wifi, be prepared with your roaming data package or get a local data package from the many telecommunications providers found at your door step.

First the people were very cheerful friendly and very helpful in hotel .. The place in center of everything.. Room was clean and well equiped ..and the suite with seperate room with door ..and there is an elevator ..the hotel street is flate with no ramps or hihill

The staff was kind and helpful, and knowledgeable with any queries you might have both about Istanbul in general and tips to make your stay a memorable one. The location is perfect, it is easy to reach both the old town and as well as the other side within walking distance and also the Asian part and also it is central with restaurants and shops around. The room was clean and has all the necessary things you need to have a comfortable stay. It is surely value for money.

The hotel is located in one of the busiest areas so you get all the traffic noise but that's fine as you are visiting a lovely city. Facilities in the hotel are good clean rooms with breakfast served. Loads of restaurants shops around here, public transportation readily available. Hotel managers were very helpful answering our queries. Overall a lovely stay.

All the breakfast items don't get refilled once they are finished so you need to get there early.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They actioned many of our requests and provided useful information when we asked. Many thanks to Ibrahim and his colleagues. The hotel is situated in a nice part of the city with access to public transport, the grand bazaar and Egypt bazaar, as well as the ferries. Good selection of food and sweet shops are also within easy reach. The hotel breakfast is simple but filling. The room we had included a kitchenette which was very convenient for us. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

It really good hotel , the location is excellent the view is good and the stuff really friendly specially Ibrahim in the reception he was really helpfull and gave us good recommendations. The hotel is clean as well and the bed is confortable.

The breakfast options are limited ( i liked the coffee), the lady that prepares it keeps looking at everyone , felt creepy at first but then we got used to it , she s just trying to check if anyone needs anything.
