Restaurant not open yet, but it was a good opportunity to taste Turkish breakfast from different nearby restaurants

We had an excellent stay at the very recently renovated Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel. NB - the hotel has been reopened in the last few weeks and the Google rating does not yet reflect this! Please read the most recent reviews for the newly opened hotel - The staff were able to accommodate a very late check-in (after midnight) and a free room upgrade to a triple room - All staff very friendly, helpful and hospitable - Very clean and modern rooms to a high specification - Views of the Bosphorus with a large sliding window which opened - The staff kindly prepared some baklava and other sweets as a surprise in the room for my birthday during the stay - The roof terrace will open soon to offer breakfast for future travellers! - Fantastic location very near tram links and attractions - Very quiet room with no background noise and very comfortable beds - Large bathroom with hair dryer, brand new towels, dressing gowns and complimentary items including dental kits if required

Our stay at Golden Horn Bosphorus was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly professional and courteous staff. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained, making it a pleasure to stay in. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, allowing easy access to all major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Whether for leisure or business, this hotel is an excellent choice. What truly set this experience apart was the outstanding hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with genuine smiles and a willingness to assist with anything we needed. They were proactive, thoughtful, and made us feel truly valued as guests. A special mention to Majed, who was an absolute gem. His fluency in Arabic and English was incredibly helpful for us, and his kindness and attentiveness made a lasting impression. I wasn’t feeling well one day, and he continuously checked in on me, offering assistance and ensuring I was comfortable. His level of care and dedication was truly remarkable. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The combination of luxury, comfort, and unparalleled service made it unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families, looking for a wonderful and stress-free experience. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

First of all GREAT STAFF! GREATEST EVER! Unbelievable and outstanding hospitality, kindness and of course hotel superb location in the heart of Ottoman history, in the middle of Europe and Asia. Facilities, room amazing terrace with Bosphorus view is noticeable to say. Special thanks to the pure professionalism, effort and kindness to Utkan, Hayrullah , Ali and Aziz. They are superior friendly and professional. However my personal kudos goes to Utkan bey who is the one made this holiday unforgettable to me and my family. He made good directions, recommended restaurants and cruises, historical places and everything you need for the best price and best value. Even Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel give us train cart which is very usable and location of hotel is nearby 2 train station which is important in Istanbul. While hotel in the Centre of Sultanahmet , place is very quiet and clean. I can’t list all complimentary they are do for us but some of them noticeable: 1. Greatest tea and Turkish coffee all day & night 2. Superior triple with Bosphorus view 3. Directions and reservation on all attractions 4. Transfer from airport 5. The hotel itself is very good, the location is prime. But what you are really paying for is the service. Second to none! I have stayed at many hotels in my life, 5/6/7 star even. This is at the top. They really do go above and beyond to ensure you make the most of your trip outside and inside the hotel. A very special shout out to all the workers. Especially Majd, Ali, Utkan, Aziz and Raşit, whom without this hotel experience would not have been the same. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Lovely gem of a property in a quiet corner of the old city. The rooms were spacious, and very clean and on the higher floor, you get a wonderful view of the Bhosphorus and the Galata Tower side of Istanbul. The location was also very good, away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas like Istiqlal shopping street but not too secluded. There were shops and plenty of restaurants within a 2-3 min walk. There’s also a train station just 1 min away! The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofia were within walking distance - about 15 min away. Gulhane Park was also close by. Also walking to the Grand Bazaar was a pleasant one. Mr. Utkan and the team there were amazingly helpful! So good that they spoke good English! They were very proactive and so willing to go out of their way to pamper the guests. All coffee and tea and other beverages were free of charge and they deliver to the rooms too! So don’t forget to make use of some caffeine pro bono when there. The WiFi was super high speed! And there were beautiful murals on the wall by the hotel that encapsulates what Istanbul has to offer which was a nice spot for photos too. Also, upon check-in, Mr. Utkan sat us all down with a map and gave us his ideas on an itinerary on where to go and which area to head to. That was very useful! On my last night, the housekeeping team unfortunately didn’t get round to refreshing my room as I had returned to work for two hours in the afternoon (which was the time they were free to clean). I returned in the evening and expressed my discontent. The hotel team took it so very well. They were sincerely apologetic, offered someone to come clean quickly, wanted to offer drinks and in the end, made up for it in a big way which was amazing! I would definitely recommend this property for sure and I will return myself should I go back to Istanbul which is highly likely! Thank you to the hotel team and staff! Wonderful hospitality!

There wasn’t really anything that I didn’t like. It would be great to have a fitness centre and a pool, perhaps but Istanbul has so much to offer and to see so spending time outside hotel was the best option anyways. With all the walking, who needs a gym! But if a simple breakfast was provided, that would have been very convenient and more cost efficient as Istanbul is surprisingly not cheap!

The hotel was just fabulous, exceeded all reasonable expectations! Perfect location, an easy walk to all major historic attractions and the Grand Bazaar, subway and other transport, restaurants and shops. Also close to the Galata area and to the water buses to the Asian site of the city. The hotel is new, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with exceptional staff always ready to help and even bring drinks to the terrace on the top of the hotel to enjoy the great view. Welcome drinks and snacks. Special thanks to Utkan for the many valuable tips and the upgrade to a room with a stunning view of the Bosphorus. Greatly recommended and amazing value for money. There are two separate hotels with similar names, so be careful not to confuse this one with the other. This hotel is absolutely immaculate and stands out for all the right reasons. - As soon as exited the taxi, the hotel staff greeted us and took our suitcases - They gave us complimentary drinks and snacks - Hospitality was excellent; every staff member was friendly, welcoming and polite. Utkan assisted us with getting around and he was very helpful. - They attended to all our needs, they even ordered our takeaway and brought it to our rooms! - Attention to detail is amazing - The level of service is excellent -The room was super clean and spacious. We felt at ease and comfortable as soon as we arrived. We would like to thank all of the staff at Golden Horn Bosphorus for making us feel so welcome for our first trip to Istanbul.

The hotel doesn’t have an on-site restaurant, but we were aware of that before booking. Honestly, it wasn’t an issue at all—there are countless restaurants and cafés just steps away from the hotel. The location is extremely central, and I’d gladly trade having an in-house restaurant for the overall high standards and quality of the hotel.

My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The service was outstanding; the staff were courteous and attentive from check in to check out, they would advise us where to go, help us with travel plans, dinner plans, recommendations etc. They were always happy to give you tea/drinks at any hour of the day. The hotel was clean and my room was comfortable and spacious. Location is amazing, everything is walking distance and it's quiet during the evenings. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going Istanbul and will definitely be back again!
