Modern, newly renovated place. Great WiFi. Great location. We just walked to all the mosques and palace. It’s really convenient! Love the bathroom amenities! They were really good! 24/7 coffee bar! My husband loves the coffee here. Quick response staff. Comfortable beds, warm showers. Don’t miss the terrace! The view was really amazing! We enjoyed our stay here.

Not really an issue for us but just highlighting for people who might find this an issue. Extremely small room, we can’t open up 2 medium size luggage fully in the room. Only one pretty small lift but it wasn’t very crowded during our stay. We stayed on first floor, can be noisy and you probably can smell the cooking exhaust in the room as the breakfast place is just right downstairs.

This hotel is conveniently located near the train station and is within walking distance to major attractions and food places. It was peaceful and quiet around, and my commute was quite smooth. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room is spacious and clean, and this small hotel is newly renovated, so everything feels brand-new and fresh. The room was big and the shower room was even posh)) Again, I would like to thank the staff for their willingness to help and address any questions (the guys even were able to talk to the taxi service on my behalf while I was having breakfast). The best part is breakfast. People traveling from countries like the US or Canada will be pleased: a huge variety of food, and you can even order an omelet or other traditional food the kitchen offers. A friendly guy from the front desk even made me some Turkish tea while I was waiting for my omelet. A truly exceptional experience and friendly service: guys go above and beyond. I highly recommend this place and I will keep it in my favorites for Istanbul. Thank you all so much!

Location was super convenient. Walking distance to many main attractions - Sirkeci Station and Gulhane Park was literally next door. The team were super friendly & helpful. The room was fantastic, facing the Bhosphorus Straits.

Normally I don’t write reviews, but this hotel simply deserves an exceptional one! Everything from the room, housekeeping, breakfast to staff was amazing! The location of the hotel is great, Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are in walking distance, train station is very close if you want to explore even more. Breakfast was slightly different every morning with lots of options, they even prepare 4 different kind of eggs just for you if you request. Tea and coffee/chocolate milk are free of charge 24/7! The staff at the hotel deserves so much credit, for making our stay in Istanbul even more pleasant! Feel in love with Istanbul and when we will come back, we will definitely stay at Meg hotel!

Location was perfect , Sirkeci , in the middle of the moving , near all the major Attractions. Hotel had everything what we needed, breakfast was fabulous, coffee, tea and the biscuits all day long, refrigerator, water kettle in the room, every day fresh towels, water, Nescafé, tea bags and complementary toiletries. Receptionists were super friendly, saved our trip with reorganising our reservation due to cancellation of our flight. They made us Turkish coffee in the afternoon, gave us useful Tipps… big "thank you "to all of them. Best value for the money.

There was milde in the shower, and paint peeling in the bathroom…..

Tucked away in quiet street but close to all the historic and transport places. Near Gülhane park and just few mins to Srikeci train/tram and ferry port. Small boutique hotel managed and run by great staff, all the staff are lovely. Modern room though small but manageable for few night short stay. Good nourishing breakfast and 24/7 tea/coffee/water in the lobby.

In the connecting room, one room with double bed is extremely small and as its windowless feels very claustrophobic. Even the en-suite is very compact so not good for people who don’t like small spaces. Rather book two city view/partial sea view rooms than interconnected room.

Loved everything about my stay especially the view from my room just topped it! very peaceful area a few minutes into the park which was stunning. The staff were amazing always there to help especially Mesut, who would get you anything you need with a smile. And a special mention to Savas who was very welcome from the minute we stepped into the hotel offering breakfast because I arrived very early 7.30am. He was also very very helpful in arranging the stay for my boys who decided to join us later. he made sure they had rooms sorted etc.. so thankful to him 🙂. Overall a shout out to Doulet, Gokalp always for a welcoming reception. And lastly Cengiz for his great sense of humour and chat. Thank you guys 😊 Also the hotel always had fresh cake/cookies in the afternoon and turkish tea and coffee were available all the time.. a lovely touch. Rooms cleaned everyday and smell fresh. Our stay was beautiful and we will definitely stay there again.

just one thing, for one night we had to change to a different room, it was the dark room with no windows etc.. the Air conditioning was fine but there was a little stale smell and just felt a little stuffy. Over-all it was perfect. might need a fresh air system installed in that room to make it perfect..

The staff where extremely helpful and always willing to provide assistance for you , the hotel is clean and smell good, the location in very quite neighbourhood .

We have asked for king size bed and they gave us two single attached which made very uncomfortable for us sleeping. The food could have more variety since it’s very limited.

I loved the location of the hotel. All the attractions of Istanbul are within walking distance. It has all the necessary facilities travellers need including well-working air conditioning and wi-fi. You are also provided with bathrobes, toiletries, tissues, tea, coffee and mineral water. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is OK.

The hotel is clean but the armchair in our room and some sofas in the breakfast area have stains on them. They should be removed to maintain the overall good impression of the hotel.

Unbelievably amazing staff, even upgraded me to a larger room half way through my trip. Lovely breakfast and the staff couldn’t do enough for me to make my stay a very pleasant one. I was on my own so as a female solo traveller I felt very comfortable here. They were also brilliant with tips as a tourist around the city. There was also coffee and tea in the restaurant at all times so it was lovely to have a coffee every evening when I came back in after travelling around all day! I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
