The location it's perfect and the rooms are nice

The breakfast was a bit poor, don't expect nice traditional Turkish dishes and the variety it's not there. I think it was fair for the price we paid though, it's just good enough to start your day having something in your stomach Be prepared to use Google translate with the staff if you don't speak Turkish, not necessarily a bad thing idk

We stayed in the Deluxe room and enjoyed the spacious room and the small terrace it came with. The wifi was free, the host asked us every day if we wanted our room cleaned and the downstairs terrace which also served as a restaurant was decorated in a very catchy way. We enjoyed the quiet. The breakfast was decent (we enjoyed the ambient music from the carefully chosen youtube videos, which was a nice touch!) and the cats in the area kept us entertained :)

AC was noisy but it did its job, and the water in the shower was draining slowly.

Central location if you visit Istambul for the first time and don't want to use public transportation to see main attractions, most of them are within walking distance. Hotel is located in old building, that adds the charm but be ready for narrow stairs and low ceiling. We loved this old features. Hotel offers shuttle from airport for reasonabl price if you travel with the family. Our room was more like a small apartment with kitchen and separate bedroom for parents. Close to Eminonu ferry station which opens up possibility to explore other districts by water.

Be ready for the noise coming from the street till midnight, but again, this is price for staying in Sultanahmet, the most touristy district . We were ready for that and if you are tired after exploring the city all day, you will fall asleep with no issues.

Quiet street that backs onto the gardens, great location to walk to everything.  Stairs with no lift. Don't go with mobility issues.  Breakfast was basic for Turkey.  Bathroom had some mould. Bed comfortable.

The hotel is very nice and located in an excellent location. The staff is too kind. We spent a great time in the hotel and in Istanbul. We hope to see you again. Many greetings for our canim benim. ❣️

Jamal and Kimet are wonderful.They really take care to make sure your stay is the best possible. From the delicious, fresh european style breakfast served in the Cafe. The cleanest rooms and linens. A/c that worked perfectly. The bathroom was anazing. I also had a delicious fish dinner the first night. The hotel is so close to most of prominent tourist locations most within 15-20 minutes and the city is very walkable. There's a beautiful park situated behind the hotel that is a wonderful place to just sit and enjoy. And there are so many restaurants in the local area, so hard to decide where to eat. Highly recommend!!

There was nothing not to like.

Excellent location, walking distance from centre. Seemed family run and they were all every nice and friendly even by translating on the phone! We came back late (12am) and it wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was very nice and fresh.

Areas in room where wifi didn’t work, door handles coming off and tap didn’t close because it’s a little old.

The location is central , the hotel is sweet , for this prize point its great , the staff is amazing and very helpful especially Jan ( he is the only one who speaks english ) . We had a nice stay in this clean although old Hotel , would come again.

Bathroom ceiling was leaking , needs to be fixed , evertyhing else is fine

Beautiful small, old hotel in quiet street off main road. Quirky, interesting decor. Loved the cafe on ground floor. Good breakfast. Very good location near tram.

Narrow twisty staircase. A bit tricky for moving oversized luggage upstairs. No other issues.

The communication - we were in our rooms in 5 minutes after arriving and talking to a host Also overbooked 1 day for myself - could negotiate to let 1 more friend in without paying extra Gulhane Park nearby Best
