I would say this is a good hotel. The location is fantastic. All the sights are within walking distance. Tram stops are very close by. We could easily walk to SultanAhmet and the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and also walk in the other direction to Sirkeci tram stop and the Bosphorous. The entrance and and lobby are very nice. The pool/sauna/hammam are also very nice and nicely kept. The houskeeping is excellent and the rooms were very clean. My kids loved using the pool/jacuzzi but be aware kids are only allowed to use it until 6PM. The staff are also very good. Polite, attentive and eager to help guests.

The rooms look much bigger in the pictures than in real life. Our 'suite' was actually quite small. The lack of space is perhaps to be expected in such a central location but the photos led us to believe in a much bigger room. The rooms, while clean, were 'old'. The flush in our room kept flushing. I reported it to staff and it was fixed but the problem re-occurred. It is an old building with probably old plumbing but not what I expect from a hotel on the more expensive side. Also, the bathroom while large, had lots of empty space. Such that the shower is tiny. You have barely enough space to move. Surely, it would make sense to use some of the empty space in the bathroom to make a much bigger shower so at least you can shower in comfort. But its a good hotel with good staff.

Location is amazing! Very central and convenient for a public transport. We had room with jacuzzi, it was very nice! Room was big, clean and cosy. Nice SPA centre! Would love to stay here again ❤️

Breakfast should be better for a hotel of this class. SPA centre are nice, but massage “specialists” were so unprofessional 🥹 It was not a massage, but an oil rub for a 60€. Don’t waste your money.

central location but silent, main sights within easy reach, safe area, good public transport connections, very nice, helpful staff with good English knowledge, very clean, air conditioned rooms, regularly cleaned, capsule coffee maker in the room, substantial breakfast with large variety of food, nice swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna, massage. We would like to return again.

It was pretty amazing. The staff downstairs are amazing. One of them has helped us find a great restaurant nearby -- and we've been to that place 4 times in 2 days and one evening!

The location is great. Its not an expensive hotel in the scheme of things so you cannot expect 5 star. But it was better than expected. Breakfast was decent. Staff very nice. Easy to get to tourist sites. Overall I think its good value and a good hotel.

The hotel is well located for exploring the main sights in the European side of Istanbul and close to the ferry stations if you want to go the Asian side. We did not need any transport but walked to all our visiting destinations - yet Taksim is a bit far if you are not in a good condition. The service in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room price included all, also the spa. Free afternoon coffee was a nice surprise. The restaurant serves only the breakfast and afternoon coffee but that is not a problem as there are several nice restaurants within 100-m radius from the hotel.

The room could be a bit larger - or the really big bed a bit smaller to give a more spacious feeling.

Decent hotel with good size rooms. Liked the Turkish style decor. The bed was very comfortable. Convenient location near all the major sights and the transport.

I am a bit puzzled by all the rave reviews as I found the hotel to be nice but not amazing. Staff seemed disinterested. Housekeeping got something wrong every day of our visit (e.g. leaving cleaning products on the bedside table, forgetting to leave a bath mat, throwing away Turkish delight that we had purchased and left on the desk). The location is very convenient to transport but some rooms are a but noisy as it is located on the tramline.

The Romance Boutique Hotel in Istanbul is a beautiful hotel- clean comfortable, good food, great staff. It’s in a fantastic location in the heart of everything. Surrounded by lovely restaurants, bars, shops and cafes with the tram on your doorstep. Two minutes walk to a beautiful park, 10 mins walk one way to the port for boat rides, 10 minutes through the park to the coast, 10 minutes walk to the Topkapi palace, blue mosque and Hagia Sophia so very very central. You won’t find a better boutique hotel in Istanbul for location or comfort and a great hotel is vital for a great stay

Really lovely hotel - the room was great (with a huge bed!) and there were lots of lovely extra touches like afternoon tea from 2-4 every day and a free to use spa. Great location - under 10 mins walk to the Blue Mosque in one direction and Galata Bridge and the Spice Bazaar in the other.

It was quite noisy in our room (1st floor) as the hotel is on quite a busy road with bars and restaurants next door and a tram that runs past every few minutes. We were offered an alternative room (which we didn’t take as it really wasn’t too bad) and it didn’t overly affect our stay.

Amazing location - amongst all the main tourist attractions all within easy walking distance. For this reason though, eating out in restaurants in the area is a little more expensive. The breakfast had a good selection of usual foods as well as regional things (tahini, pomegranate molasses, Turkish cheese, fresh herbs, borek, labneh etc) which was really nice. The service was very friendly and attentive and they were happy to help with plans, travel, advice etc. Complimentary tea and snacks in afternoon was appreciated.

The room was occasionally a little noisy as the doors shut very heavily and the street is right outside. However this did not realy disrupt sleep in the middle of the night, only at beginning/end when people moving around. The beds were very comfy and there are blackout curtains and air con so sleep is comfortable. The pool in the spa downstairs was a little on the cold side, but the sauna was good. I don't think the steam room was running when we were there and there was nobody about to ask to switch it on.
