It has a great position in Istanbul, near the historical city center. The staff is very helpful. They have paid car parking in front of the hotel, which is the same price as everywhere else (around 10€/day as of September 2024). Do not bother to park in a different place, because it is the same price! The breakfast food is carefully selected. Rooms are very clean and daily tidied. For Bosphorus trips they have better prices than on the Internet.

However... It doesn't mention that the restaurant on the top is not the one where you will serve breakfast. The included breakfast is served on the bottom floor. You can serve food on the rooftop, but that is a paid restaurant. Also, most rooms have pretty much the same small size, and there is little view to the city from the rooms.

- The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mevlid. Wonderful guy, his hospitality was second to none. - The location was perfect for sight seeing. Equally placed between the markets and the two mosques. Mamaray and tram stations are around the corner. A good base to have when exploring Istanbul. - The breakfast was amazing. Huge variety of food and great service from the catering staff. Good seating and tables. If you stay for more than one night, the kitchen staff will change the main hot dishes every day do give variety in case you might get tired of eating the same foods. 07:30-11:00. - The room was very clean. Everything was working, the shower pressure was good. We had a TV, fridge, kettle with coffee and tea, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable. - The hotel is easy to access. It has 24 hour staff available. There is a lift. - Great value for what you pay for.

- The pillows were a bit hard but can be switched for soft ones. - Some upkeep was needed aesthetically. Although Raymond hotel blue is still being renovated. - There is a loud music playing and noise from the bar which doesn't stop until midnight or 1am which may mean your sleep is distriburbed. The walls are thin. - Shower was slightly small in ground floor room.

Best part was the staff. The person at the reception and the kind old gentleman who helped us with our bags were both amazing. Went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. I’ve not seen such chivalry in a long time :)

The location was perfect, very central, and public transportation options very near, the room was clean, very kind, helpful stuff, the rooftop restaurant is a must!

There are two buildings; one is Raymond Hotel and the other is Raymond Blue Hotel, in Raymond Blue the rooms on Booking look completely different and I booked here, but got a room in Raymond Hotel, when I asked the stuff about this why our room looks different than on the pictures (our room looked older than the pictures and completely different bathroom, decoration, size) they said it is because the rooms got recently renovated, which is little bit hard to believe, since the decoration in our room was damaged and the room didn't look new at all. The breakfast was very average.

Raymond and Raymond Blue are joined operating business. I am native to Istanbul living overseas you may read my comments on 2015 and they were about how great it was unfortunately this is not the case anymore

The maintenance of the rooms are down the roof-top restaurant is a ripoff and because the original restaurant don't operate next door is customers having dinner after the rooftop ripoff for 2hrs reception didn't show any interest to help to call Uber only an other traveller used his phone to help me at chaos on the Bayram and my 3 messages in 3 weeks by Booking.com to the hotel were ignored by the new COUSTUMER RELATION I am a level 3 Booking.com member I have never wrote negative review I wrote this because it hurts me seeing the real-changes and falls comments the only Great thing left is the well meaning thing is the LOCATION and the CONCIERGE from the original I hope Booking.com notice this and don't erase from the comments

Great location at the center of monuments and next to a centerline tram station, without noise from it. Nice view and helpfull personnel. Delicius and adequate breakfast during a well picked period of time (till 11.00).

The refrigerator was far too weak, there were no signs that the water is not potable and the room was a bit small but adequate. I recommend it.

The location is super (in the historical center, within walking distance to Topkapi Palace). All hotel staff are very friendly and helpful! At breakfast, although it is a bit cramped in a small room, there is a feeling of a family hearth: everything is enough and tasty. The room is clean. Thank you! Since we came to see the sights of Istanbul, I will not lower the rating for the view from the window, shabby walls and other things.

Breakfast was delicious, very much varied from day to day, and large in choices. The manager at breakfast (Mine) was wonderful for her service. It was the best I have had in recent years. Elevator service was perfect for me who uses a cane. Restaurants in the hotel were wonderful and atmospheric. Location was near a tramway stop. Men manning the desk were extremely helpful and courteous. Tea and coffee were offered to be brought to my room by Abdullah

The location is excellent, right in the city center. The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to ensure your comfort. The room was warm, the hot water worked continuously, and the bed was comfortable.

Some rooms are rather small, and the cleanliness could be more meticulous. Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway is quite audible, which may be disruptive.

Raymond Blue Hotel is in the bustling hub of old Istanbul. I was able to get to any major tourist attraction within a few minutes (5 minute walk to Topkapi, 7 minute walk to Hagia Sofia and 30 mins walk at the latest to get to Galata tower). The staff are incredibly helpful no matter the time of day, thank you so much for making my stay so amazing!

The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but honestly it wasn’t a big issue at all. The location and helpfulness of the staff made everything better.
