Very convenient location: the metro is literally two steps away, and all the main attractions of Istanbul are within walking distance. Also, nearby are a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops, grocery stores. Very responsive and friendly staff who are ready to meet your requests.

Rooms with windows facing the street opposite the hotel entrance are better off forgetting about a quiet night: there is music, screams and all that stuff 24/7. In some rooms not all the sockets work, also there is a smell of sewage from the bathroom, and in general, I would like to see more cleanliness in the bathroom and cosmetic renovation in the rooms.

Staff - very helpful. Location - close to the main attractions, tram station, restorants, piers,...The room was clened every day , comfortable bed,...Breakfast was really with variety of pastries,pies, cookies, fruit, diary products, vegetables, ....

We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment in Istanbul! The location is perfect — close to everything, which made exploring the city so easy. But what truly made our stay so special was the staff. They are honestly some of the most helpful and amazing people we’ve ever met while traveling. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel so welcome and really turned our trip into a memorable one. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful team!

Location is excellent, very close to Agia Sofia, Top Kapi and within walking distance to many other places of interest. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with many options and many traditional flavors. Surrounding area is very safe, with many shops and restaurants. Tram station T1 line is few steps away, which was very convenient as well. On the terrace, there is also Luco Restaurant, which has a magnificent view to the Vosporus and Agia Sofia and food is delicious. If come again in Konstantinople, I would defini0tely choose again Raymond Hotel

Room was relatively small, but this was not a big issue. Also, toilet needed to be cleaner.

Raymond City Hotel has fantastic location - so near the tram which can take you to the Spice and Grand Bazaars, ferry docks and walking distance to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Whirling Dervishes, as well as train and metro lines. Many good restaurants close by too. The staff were very helpful with any requests, directions, etc. The rooftop restaurant in the hotel has wonderful views of the Bosphorus and delicious Turkish food. The included breakfast was plentiful and varied too.

The hotel is on a busy street, so there is quite a bit of noise, but the double-glazed windows help a lot, and the noise is pretty much gone by 11pm. The first room I had (in the older part of the hotel) was spacious and clean, but overall in need of a refresh, I was asked to change rooms during my stay and the second room was much nicer - fresh paint, nice curtains, refurbished bathrooms. Nevertheless it was good value for this central location so I have no complaints overall.

The location of the hotel is absolutely great. Breakfast was amazing great, I would recommend to have breakfast at this hotel. Walk distance to Topkapi Palace Museum, Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque) & You can either walk to Blue Mosque or go on the tram STOP (Sultanahmet) for Blue Mosque. Raymond Hotel Old City Very close to the tram station (Gülhane) on the tram 8 minutes to Grand Bazaar, on the tram 6 min to Sirkeci Train Station and on the tram 9 mins to Egyptian Bazaar, Bosphorus Cruise - Tours & Tickets. Rooftop restaurant is amazing with excellent view of the City and Sea View.

Rooms are smaller than expected. triple room is very tight. We requested twin room for two single beds. They give us standard room with two single beds again very tight.

A small hotel, in the heart of Istanbul, with very small rooms, and a friendly staff. The reception, the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff were very kind. Good location, close to Basilica Cistern, Sofia Mosque and Blue Mosque. Very good price-quality ratio👍🏻

Hygiene products were few or of average quality, towels were torn, had holes and the state of repairs to the bathroom installations was visible or unfinished. Sometimes there was no hot water pressure in the bathroom. The hallway on the first floor is very small and you can often hear the noise of the neighbors waiting for the elevator in the room. A lot of noisy Ukrainians with inappropriate attitude.

The hotel is located near all the attractions we came to see including Topkapi Palace and all the historical mosques from the Ottoman Empire, but also the Grand Bazaar, the dock where all the boats for the tourist city tours are and much more, all not even a 10 minute walk away. We loved it! All of the staff were amazing, they helped us with literally everything including our baggage, our transport to the airport, they served us coffee and tea anytime we would come back to the hotel and they made sure we had the best time there. The rooms were cleaned everyday with no exception, we would get fresh towels, sheets, everything on a daily basis. The hotel itself is nice, even if there was anything that might’ve bothered us (and there really wasn’t) it wouldn’t matter amongst all the good things. We really cannot wait to come there again.

Rooftop restaurant is NOT part of the hotel. At check-in the very nice front desk clerk said hotel guests receive a discount at the Rooftop restaurant. Not true, the restaurant made it clear they were in no way associated with the hotel. Beautiful views from Rooftop, the food was so-so, expensive. Lots of Rooftop restaurant within a 5 minute walk.

The location and cleanliness deserve the highest marks, as well as the attitude of the staff towards us. Excellent breakfast every day and close to all types of public transport. Housekeepers came every day and changed towels and everything necessary. Due to problems with the air conditioning, we got a new room right away in the morning. Abdulah bey is a great person and helped us with everything.

in the new room the wifi did not work and the problem could not be solved, probably due to problems with the walls in the room. Outside the room, it worked as well as it did in our original room. In the new room, the sound of people in the toilet of the next room was too loud. The air conditioner was overhead, so I got sick at the end.
