We had a hick up when we arrived at Istanbul. Transportation we paid through Booking.com was not available nor no way of contacting the local company. I talked to Mohamad Fahmy through Booking.com. He took care of issue right away but again communication has always an issue...It was a good experience. Now about hotel. The area is one block into quiet road. If you are a minute away, you see hassling and bustling. Too many restaurants, YES I said too many. Grocery stores are nearby along with liquor store if you want to get some beer or so. Hotel stuffs are all nice and polite. Room is always clean, but bathroom amenity needs a little attention. Room is small as name of hotel "Le Petite Palace Hotel" but after more than a few days, we got a used it. Everything is walking distance. No need to ride T1 metro or bus. You can walk everywhere from this hotel and close enough to return take a shower and go out again. It was really convenient. So many beautiful mosques nearby Keep your head scarf and wear long skirt or pants. We not only walk all the spots at old town side but also we walked cross the bridge to go over Galata tower and Taksim... As I said it is walking distance unless you have issues. Their complimentary breakfast was good. It is pretty much same food every morning, but you have coffee, tee, juices and all kinds of bread and cheese. Processed meat, olives and fruits were available.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each visit has been an outstanding experience. The location is simply perfect – all major sights are within walking distance, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. Despite being so central, the hotel is remarkably quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Public transport connections are excellent and just a stone’s throw away, which makes getting around effortless. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I can highly recommend this hotel – you won’t regret staying here. It’s always a pleasure to return

Excellent location with the Gulhane tram stop a short distance away yet far enough not to be heard, friendly staff and a simple yet sufficient breakfast.

The advertised sauna would have been most welcome but was no longer available

Beautiful, clean hotel close to all the major attractions by foot or by metro, very friendly and helpful staffs especially Mr. Hamid also cleaning crews, breakfast crews and front desk crews . The hotel has good breakfast buffet with great coffee. My mother and I truly enjoyed our stay there. We had good room with balcony with good views . Thanks again to everyone. We definitely will be back.

We've loved our stay in the Petit Palace Hotel. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed and it was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh breakfast every day or a buffet with turkish specialties. A dream for us and a main reason to come back. The staff was nice and the location of the hotel was prime as we could walk to the close by attractions such as Hagia Sophia.

The hotel is right in the centre of a touristy area, so it might be a bit noisy. But it was not a problem for us and if you stay in the centre, you have to be okay with that I assume.

The hotel was recommended to us by many, and boy we were not disappointed. The staff was super helpful (specially Ahmet who helped us with open arms). The hotel room was cozy, comfortable and CLEAN! We were absolutely stunned that when we needed a clean up they even washed the floors and ironed the bed covers besides all the other regular clean up things. The location of the hotel is perfect for a walk to all the biggest sights to see, to go to all the bazaars and also to the ferries if you like to go to the Asian side as well (which we highly recommend to do).

Beautifully decorated property in a lovely quiet street within a short walk of all key sites. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt very safe and well taken care of.

Our room was a little dusty and the hairdryer originally supplied was broken - however the team quickly provided a replacement on request. The breakfast wasn’t too my taste, however my husband did enjoy it so this is really just preference.

The breakfast was good. It met my needs but more fruits and veggies would be nice. A wide assortment of bread/pastry that I do not eat. Scrambled eggs and coffee were basically all I was looking for.

I liked everything! But..I did book a massage in the hotel which apparently was through a service they contract out. It was honestly the absolute worst massage I’d ever had. I’m a massage junky; I get them almost weekly and have for years. I did complain to the management but nothing was done. No offer of reimbursement/discount or replacement.

Uncomfortable beds in standard room, difficult to sleep even if you are extremely tired. Room size (Standard) extremely small to even put luggage. Breakfast very limited options.
