We looked out for a fair priced Hotel situated in the touristic heart of Istanbul and after reading some comments we booked at Hotel Brako. From the Airport you can go there really easy by bus and tramway. You can reach the most famous sights within a few minutes by feet. But also a Tramway Station ist nearby and the Ferry to the Asian side is reachable in a few minutes. The rooms are quiet comfortable and clean, nothing special. You have what you need for a short city trip. There was free drinking water every day. Where the Hotel shines ist the Staff. They were excelent. Before the start of the trip they contacted me and asked if i have some questions or wishes. During our visit they had always good and uncomplicated advice if asked and they helped if possible. They even noticed the birthday of my partner :)

Not really negative points here. The drain of the shower was slow, so you better don't spend much time in there. But that's not significant for me. The Hotel is situated on a busy street. If you like it very quiet you may choose a hotel more outside of the old town (They gave us a room not on the streetside when we ask). There is no breakfast offer if that's important for you, but considering the size of the hotel this is understandable. You can do a few steps on the street and there is food everywhere.

I stayed there with my father, the stuff was very helpful and nice with us! The room is perfect new and very clean, all needed was there! rooms are comfortable to stay, the view was on the street, but then window is closed there is no noise! Which is very good in Istanbul! The value-money definitely worth it! the location is 5 min from most of the mosque and 2 min from tramway station! Lots of restaurants and cafes around and also pharmacies and shops we love our stay and definitely will be back! Definitely cleanest and service on very high level! I would recommend this hotel In Istanbul ❤️

All was perfect

The hotel was perfect and in the centre of the city and in walking distance to all the historical attractions as well to the public transportation stops, it’s a new hotel and the room was very clean and well decorated very comfortable and cozy, it was remarkable stay for us we loved it, the staff members were very helpful and friendly always there to assist us and to ease and assure that we have unforgettable experience at the city especially Mr.Shirin we would like to thank him allot, they organised all of our tours and it was fantastic I would recommend them definitely, Brako Hotel is my destination for sure. Thank you so so much for hospitality.

The location was fantastic, it’s a few minutes walk from Sircezi station, we flew into Sabiha Gokcen and got the underground from there to Sircezi. The tram also stops a short distance away from the hotel so getting around is really easy. The Hotel is small but perfectly formed! The rooms are nice, comfortable and lovely bathroom. The staff are just the best, I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how lovely they are. They will go out of their way to help and are so so kind.

All I can think of is that it would have been good to have a chair in the room, everything else was perfect.

Excellent location with 10 min walk to all places in old town. Furthermore next to metro and tram station for all other locations. Couldn’t have been better location wise. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. But most amazing were the staff, so helpful, polite, and friendly. They were very exceptional in my experience. Great hotel where you get much more price quality wise than most expensive hotels — would most definitely recommend.

Nothing, hotel is in centre old town so street side can be noisy, but that’s what you get with such a central location.

The location is very near to a lot of sightseeing locations and you can see the sea from some of the windows if you look closely, so it is close to that as well. The staff was really friendly and helped with everything we needed. The room was big and spacious.

Sometimes the room got quite warm on its own just by us staying there or the sun coming in over the windows and the only way to got it to cool down was by opening the windows to the Istanbul sounds which was difficult to sleep with.

Will be back with my husband to this hotel next time. Recommend it for price/location value but mostly because of extremely friendly staff. They speak few languages and were VERY helpful. Even though we were unlucky to be there at the only night when the outside historical facade was mended, Aslan - manager - apologized and offered us the compensation. The next night was quiet and nice. Rooms are clean. Sleepers, every day cleaning, drinking water, good smelling shampoo. No toothbrush.

No complaints but suggestions: Toothbrush and robes would be nice to have there, and at least a tiny shelf in the toilet would be good as well.

The location is very lively, with everything close by, including shops, restaurants, the metro station, and trams. It’s a crowded area, but I enjoyed staying there. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Mahmoud and Usman.

The noise is a bit noticeable since it’s a crowded area and the restaurants are operating, but it wasn’t a big issue for me. However, the furniture needs to be renewed, and even the bathroom fixtures need to be repaired.

Very clean hotel, helpful and responsible staff. Located at the heart of Sirkeci, Istanbul. Just walking distance from Aya Sofia, Süleymanie Mosque, Galata Tower and lots of more places. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Also metro and tram stations just 2 minutes walking distance from where you can explore all of İstanbul. Very easy to find from the airport or Bus station with the metro.

Everything was perfect. Hope to visit again next year.

We loved the staff, the location, and the cleanliness of the hotel in that order. We were very well taken care of by Aslan and his team. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, directions to sites, and were generally so hospitable and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit to Istanbul because of Aslan and the Hotel BRAKO staff. Also, this may seem strange, but we adored the scent of the towels! They smelled heavenly!
