Whether it was organizing transport, arranging a perfect breakfast, or making sure every little request was met, the team went above and beyond. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored property, stylish without being pretentious, with rooms that are both modern and rich in character. We highly recommend this hotel! Our stay was absolutely wonderful — the room was spotless, and everything was in perfect working condition. We were pleasantly surprised to find two air conditioners: one in the living room and one in the bedroom, which made a big difference during the summer heat. Housekeeping was offered daily, and the cleanliness was consistently excellent throughout our 3-week stay. The location is quiet and peaceful — ideal for relaxing and disconnecting. You can truly enjoy some rest here, away from the noise and crowds. A special thank you to the staff for their attentiveness and kindness. They were always willing to help, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back again!

I really love the location of this hotel as it is right on one of the hills next to the Bosporus Strait , you can breathe in the sea scented air. It is in a very convenient location on the European side so you are really close to both sides . You can even walk to Ortaköy in 10 mins . To the affluent shopping mall Zorlu it’s only 5-7 mins by taxi. I stayed here with my dear pet and there was no difficulty regarding that. I also love the staff ; especially the manager Ali bey and Osman bey are quite helpful and friendly. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay here. It’s my second stay here within a year and I come all the way from Canada. P.S. Since it’s a new building and not very tall I feel safer in terms of earthquakes .

We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade upon arrival.The room and the hotel itself were beautifully designed, clean. Although the location is quite vibrant, the room was quite well sound insulated and quite comfy, the staff were very friendly,always there to help if any questions arise.

Honestly, the barking dogs from the neighboring area were quite disturbing and made it difficult for us to sleep. It was frustrating and made us feel a bit uncomfortable during our stay. We truly hope that the hotel find a solution for this issue because we would love to stay here again in the future. Everything else was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our time here.

unfortunately apartment lacked some of the basic essentials that make a short stay comfortable. While there was a kitchen, there were no small but important items like cooking oil, dish soap, or basic utensils like spatulas — things you don’t expect to buy yourself when staying just a couple of days. When we asked if dish soap could be provided, the staff informed us it was not allowed and offered an extra dishwasher tablet instead — not very useful given that there was only one set of dishes (just a couple of plates, forks, and glasses). Other issues included a bathroom where the shower would flood the floor, with nothing provided to wipe or clean it up. Overall, it could be a more pleasant experience with just a few thoughtful touches and improvements.

I had a wonderful stay at The Public Ortaköy. The apartment was exceptionally clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out – perfect for both relaxing and working. The service was outstanding: the staff were always courteous, attentive, and genuinely helpful. One evening, when one of us fell ill, the reception team went above and beyond by trying to get medication from a pharmacy – even late at night. That level of care truly impressed me. The location was another big plus: very central, with plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. At the same time, the hotel is tucked away just enough to offer a peaceful and quiet atmosphere – the best of both worlds. We had absolutely nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a new and an amazing property at the heart of Istanbul European side near the center of the Ortakoy neighborhood but it’s also in a secluded inner street so no noise. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and has anything you can ever need for a short or longer stay. The prices are a steal so I hope they continue to provide this excellent service at this price point because I’m not staying anywhere else!

Maybe would have been nice to have a fitness center but that’s nothing negative about the property.

An extremely clean and quiet place with exceptional staff. Upon arrival I was offered a free upgrade to a better suite and they the hotel was also very flexible with arranging a late check-out. All in all the place is perfect for getting yourself a cozy, isolated apartment surrounded with lots of greenery but at the same time live in right in between the eastern and western parts of Istanbul.
