Nice staff, nice location, comfortable room. And it clearly seems that they keep on improving the place.

Breakfast 8/10. If you request an omelette you can get it with tea or coffee but no more. For me the pre prepared breakfast plate was inadequate so I went for the omelette.

Old feel in the bedrooms, sheets didn't look 100% clean however could be old stains, otherwise was up to the standard you would expect for the price you pay.

All the staff were interacting with smile and cordiality. Always helpful. A great view and a lovely breakfast.

The hotel is just 5-10 minutes walk to Arasta Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basilica Cistern.

The stairs is exhausting 😅 We were in the 3rd floor, so imagine going up and down the steep stairs is tiring. But since we stayed in the hotel for 10 days we got used to it.

Be Careful. Do not enter the place in front of this Hotel. The Sultan Terras Fish Kebab steks House. It was the worst experience with the staff of this place. I went up to the terrace with my parents. We were very excited by the view from the terrace. We sat down at the table. The waiter offered us a seafood platter for 30 Turkish liras. This platter was not priced on the menu. that's why they insisted on him. Of course I couldn't resist the temptation and ordered. everything was fine and dandy until they brought the bill for payment. 30 Turkish Liras turned into 3000 . It was a shock. A huge scandal started. The waiters insisted that they told me that it cost 3000 and not 30. That such a plate cannot cost so cheap. Although the fish was fried with a lot of oil and dry. The waiter was ready to hit me. I called the police, they called lawyers. I negotiated up to 2000 Turkish liras. I left with a bitter taste. Disappointed and robbed. They are thieves and crooks. I am very often in Istanbul and the location is well. The hotel itself is not that bad even if too old for my taste (very small stairs, everything was working but lloked broken, I coudl close my roomdoor thoygh, this was broken) but is same price as other hotels offering more for same location. I didnt like the reception. The lady was very cold, I felt like I was disturbing, it tooks long minutes to verify we really add a reservation, then there was talks about and forth about what room they would give us... too much bad organization. No breakfast, not to best "level" for same price as othera offering this

Only good thing is location - very close to Hippodrome/Blue mosque. Some ground level staffs are helpful.

1) No lift on the 5 story building. You will have to get up through a very narrow staircase. 2) Wifi is very patchy - I tried in the 2nd floor and the 5 the floor. 3) Bathroom shower cubicles are poorly designed - I had issues in both the floors and water leaks out of the cubicle 4) Breakfast is always the same and in a plate- bread, cheese, tomato, cucumber and and egg with tea/coffee. 5) My friend stayed in much better hotels (like Antusa Design hotel and spa) in the similar areas with little higher budget. Unless I am a super budget conscious traveler, I will not opt for this hotel; I was confused by the booking.com rating. 6) New management is not tourist friendly enough and there is arrogance against complaints.

The main entrance should be open
