Yilmaz bey was particularly helpful and considerate to my mother, she was in town on her own having major teeth surgery and they made her comfortable and preempted things she may need. All the staff were lovely and considerate of my mums well being with particular attention to detail. The bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable so my mum was able to sleep well and they provided ice packs to help with the pain in her teeth. Mum said the breakfast had a lot of variety and looked delicious, mum had soup which they kindly blended up for her. Overall my mum was very well looked after during her stay at the Karaca Hotel, I have also stayed here previously myself on a few occasions and each visit has been a pleasure. Thank you so much to the whole team for taking very good care of my mother, I hope to visit again soon. This is a perfect example of Hospitality!

Great location in a very nice street lined with palmtrees and restaurants, right next to a marked with books and jewelery. Close to metro, tram, train, and walking distance to the major sights. I also enjoyed the cinema next door (free of charge) showing older movies. Very spacious room. Great balcony with lovely view. Nice and quick roomservice. Nice bathroom and big shower with good pressure. Friendly and helpful reseption. Would definitely stay there again.

I would have liked a socket near the bedsidetable or the couch so I could have charged my phone while using it. The shower door couldnt close properly and needed some maintenance.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good and the location was excellent. We will stay there again.

It was hot and we couldn't use the air conditioning because there was a strong smell of smoking coming through making the room claustrophobic. Keeping the doors open was very noisy.

Very central, extremely clean, spacious bathroom. Very polite staff. Breakfast was up to 11 on weekends!

Wifi was good only in the reception. There was none inside the room unless you stood in the door. Breakfast could be better.

The hotel is a classic one with a very impressive collection of antiques, which belong, I was told, to the landlord. Although the hotel is located in the city center and on the street, there are plenty of restaurants, in the evening they are all close and the street is very quiet. Its location is excellent and in walking distance from the promenade next to the sea. We did not use public transport at all. We got a large very cozy room with a balcony. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the towels were changed every day. Breakfast was very rich and varied. For those who have interest and time, can use the gym and sauna and for an additional fee even enjoy a massage. I missed it. Good value for money. highly recommend.

Wi FI at room was very weak I have no evidence for this, but walking barefoot on the floor left me with the impression that it wasn't cleaned every day.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff especially the cleaning lady on our floor and the breakfast staff who would make us an omelette if they weren’t too busy.

Location to the park and nearby restaurants. Free upgrade to a balcony room on 7th floor with excellent street view. Accommodation to late check out for a late flight.

Old building & non-responsive A/C

First of all, Karaca hotel is located just few meters from the bus stop (line 202) that arrrives and departs from Izmir Airport (you don't need any other transport to reach the hotel). The hotel and the room was very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants offering different kinds of cuisine. It is just about 500 hundred meters away from the Seaside. In conclusion, it deserves every penny you pay 👌

Great location and lovely big room with balcony. Staff were very helpful when we were planning day trips. Close to Izmir's fantastic seafront and good cafes and bars within walking distance.

It is long past time for the rooms of this facility to be renovated but nothing is being done yet. The breakfast is inadequate and will be disappointing.
