Location is quite nice, it is just in front of Efes Hotel and I think this is a good alternative for that hotel which can easily compete in the comfort of the room. The hamam-styled bathroom was perfect! Sound isolation was quite good. Beds were really comfortable. All in all it provided a quite relaxing sleep and stay in the room. It has an indoor pool which not really big but you can at least relax with air bubles.

Small critisism, reception staff were so busy mentioning their names and asking for a good review that it turned out that they forgot to check out our 2nd room and releasing the deposit from credit card 🙂 That was then noticed and fixed by someone on their side a pair of hours later by calling us so it was still fine.

I should especially mention that I have stayed in many brand name hotels in Izmir. The Renaissance Hotel, which I tried for the first time, is now the only one I will pass. I will not stay in another hotel in Izmir from now on. The staff's attention and care is amazing. I would like to thank all the staff. The cleanliness, the comfort of the rooms are 10. Everything was perfect. The location, the hotel facilities, everything I haven't mentioned yet was very good.

The hinge of the bathroom door in my room was very creaky and the dustbin was not working well. Some days, the room was not tidied up properly. To go into the indoor pool, you need to have a hat or you will be made to buy one- maybe this should have been put somewhere so that guests will bring one along. In room dining - the food we ordered was the saltiest I have tasted so far in Istanbul, not great at all.

Very comfortable spacious boutique hotel centrally located. Close to waterfront and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, clean and a good size. Bathroom had a lovely rain shower and was quite spacious. Staff were attentive - particularly in the sky restaurant which was a lovely place to go for a nightcap after dinner or even for dinner. The views were good and it was airy and guests tables were nicely spaced. On our departure day our flight didnt leave until late in the day, they kindly allowed us to stay in the club lounge until our departure.

I liked location, very convenient for traveling to Ceshme, right on the route, 5 star hotel consierge service was really good and staff were very helpful. They had child bed, very friendly staff, always available to help and support. Several great restaurants around. Valet car parking service was great.

Some facilities need renovation such as carpet. In general hotel wud greatly benefit from partial renovation from within.

The staff were amazing. I would like to mention the amazing service received by Hilal . The gents and overall experience was fantastic. This was by far the friendliest staff we met. We traveled around Turkey and the staff at Renaissance by far exceeded our expectations. Tesekkur ederim

I do feel the VIP club lounge can alternate and provide a better variety of treats throughout the day rather than serving the same biscuits. Other than that I cannot fault this hotel.

5 star quality with relaxed atmosphere. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Wonderful spa with reasonably priced treatments and delightful therapists. Amazing buffet breakfast, beautifully presented with very wide choice of foods. Ilgun, the maitre d of the restaurant was charming, very knowledgeable on wines and looked after us very well. Pelin, guest relations and quality manager was delightful and made sure we were happy with everything.

Room is very dark! Not enough light, so it’s not great when doing make-up. Check in is way too slow. Expect Atleast 30mins of waiting time, pillows for bed weren’t good atall and bed was uncomfortable

The staf in general are all pleasantly helpful; I was amazed by the professionalism of the reception personnel’s great attitude and manner specially Mrs PELIN who made feel like members of the hotel community . Demla whom joyed us with her smile, Kutay who did all he could to make us informative about the hotel and services, Berkin educated us about the old city and surrounding. Thanks to all

The hotel is well placed, lots of places to eat in walking distance, also the bazar, if needed. The rooms are nice, have space, toilet and shower are separated, really nice, the shower is big, enough for two. Internet is fast enough for work, the breakfast is not cheap, but excellent, you have juice, coffee, cereal, warm food, veggies, fruits, and its on the top floor, nice to sit outside and enjoy the morning. the gym is well equipped, can't handle too many people, but nice for some workout session.

Hotel prices are going up, also here, its not cheap, breakfast is expensive, make it count. room cleaning came for me at 6pm, which is a bit tricky, good news is, they came back later when you can leave for dinner.
