The hotel is new and nice - the owner is a civil engineer. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is just the right size with a modern and large shower cabin. A good Turkish breakfast is served at the table. The only thing we missed was the juice. The hosts (husband and wife) are very friendly. They are committed to sustainability. He is a charity rescue worker. We parked on a quiet street in front of the hotel. In high season this could be a problem - ask the host. Little kittens kept us company. We hope the lost one has been found. We would be happy to come back sometime.

Wonderful stay at AGON Ephesus. Facilities were comfortable with a nice-sized bathroom for a double room. Extremely close to all the major sites and the bus station in town (and 20 minute walk from the long distance bus terminal). The best part was how attentive and helpful the owner and staff were. Serhat speaks excellent English, spent time going over local sights and suggesting an itinerary for me, which he does for every guest. He went above and beyond to help me send some money to my last hotel, which I accidentally left without paying, which involved calling the previous hotel, depositing cash into his personal account etc etc. He also helped me buy a train ticket to Izmir.

The level of personal attention we received truly stood out—they went out of their way to help us arrange travel to nearby sites, book airport transfers, and even assisted us with currency exchange when we ran short on Turkish lira. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a restful place to recharge after long days of exploring. The hotel is owned and run by a husband-wife team. They are extremely nice and welcoming. The room I stayed in is for one person so it is small but has everything I need (except a hairdryer which some might find useful to have). Breakfast is lovely and fulfilling. The location is unbeatable, it is close to the center of the town and very safe. The owner provides lots of good suggestions and tips for my itinerary and places to eat, chill, explore. I appreciate the attention to detail and warmth of the hosts. Selcuk is a lovely town too, with many affordable but delicious food options. As a bonus, the stray cats patrolling the area are very cute and friendly.

The hotel itself is fantastic, featuring a new design that maintains an authentic, charming feel. Our room was spotless, air-conditioned, and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What truly set this hotel apart was the hospitality. Serhat, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was always smiling and incredibly helpful, taking the time to guide us on the best things to do and see in Selçuk, which added a personal touch to our trip. The breakfast was amazing — one of the best we’ve had, with a great variety that started our days off perfectly. And we were greeted by their lovely cat, Güllaç, who added a delightful and warm touch to our stay. If you're visiting Selçuk, I highly recommend staying at AGON Ephesus Hotel for its exceptional service, welcoming atmosphere, and wonderful amenities.

Serhat and his wife have created a really calm oasis in a quiet but well-located part of town. The room had everything I needed - great shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious too! They were both very helpful with local information and recommendations as well as helping plan my visit to İzmir Birds Paradise. The property is close to the bus station which makes it easy to get to Ephesus. Selçuk is a lovely town and when I come back I’ll definitely stay here again.

Agon Ephesus was a fantastic place to stay. The building is a restored building and it has been done in a lovingly way. Retaining the charm of the original building while the rooms were modern and perfectly finished. Beautiful. The location is also very good, on the edge of town, a very short stroll away from the center, yet right when you come into town from a visit to Ephesus, I was surprised by the convenience of the location. The hotel is run by a very friendly couple. Highly, highly recommended !

Agon Ephesus was absolutely the best place we've stayed at on our Turket vacation. The property is just adorable! Değer & Sermet were absolutely the best hosts. They went above and beyond to help us with restaurant recommendations and assistance with our ferry to Samos and where to park. We wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever come back to Turkey, we will stay there for sure.

A small boutique hotel where you felt welcome. The owner was very helpful and arranged for an excellent tour for us and provided good restaurant recommendations. Although the hotel is new it is blends into the historic part of Selcuk and has kept the ruins of an old bathroom as a feature

On the way back from my coastal trip in Turkey I spend a night in this cosy hotel. It is surrounded by historical sites and museums. Artemis Temple is just next to the hotel and ancient town of Ephesus is in walking distance. Very clean and had all the things I needed. Well decorated garden with historical artifacts. Loved the breakfast they served. Friendly owners gave a lot of tips to visit surroundings. Definitely coming back for a longer stay. Great stay and great value for money!
