Ali and his wife are great host. Because we need to leave at 8am. They came to make the breakfast early so that we can be on time. And the breakfast is all homemade, including the apricot jelly! Everything is delicious. Ali also owns a restaurant around the corner of the hotel. We had dinner there. Everything there is worth the value!

The guesthouse is a family run place with friendly and helpful owners. The location is great, close to the main town centre, bus and train stations and all local attractions. Ephesus archaeological site is 3km walk away. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was tasty and there was plenty of çay to enjoy in the little courtyard. There was also no issue with leaving my bags for a few hours after check out. Overall a great place to stay!

The dorm room had no fan or window so it was a little stuffy

The location was perfect. From the guesthouse, you could easily walk to the bus station, the train station or even explore all the museums and touristy places in Selcuk. Ali Baba was very friendly and accommodating. I forgot to inform him that I will arrive with the early morning bus, so I just messaged him on WhatsApp when I got to Selcuk. He was quick to reply and welcomed me in with a ready room. He offered to drive me and another guest to Efes. Not only did he do so, but he also dropped us at the North gate, so we explored while walking downhill to the South gate (it's important to note that otobus comes to the South Gate, so this was extremely helpful and convenient for us). The room was clean and big. I was able to use the AC, which was a big comfort for the summer. The breakfast was good too.

There was only soap for hand-wash and not a separate one for bathing. Which I found strange. The toilet also wobbled a bit.

Location is great, easy walking distance to Basilica of St John and a short drive to Ancient city of Ephesus. Ali and his wife were very hospitable and welcoming. A/C worked great, hot water and good internet. Breakfast is included from 8-10am but we needed to leave earlier and Ali’s wife still served us breakfast at 7:30. Her homemade jam and rice pudding were excellent! They also have a restaurant around the corner which had the best salad dressing we had on our entire trip. The pomegranate sauce with the olive oil was a real highlight. Food was excellent as well.

Keep in mind this is a 2* hotel, so standards should be accordingly.

Really liked this place, clean and comfortable, the hosts are nice, friendly and happy to help. What more can you ask for? If I come back, I'm going to stay here again.

Hotel ran by such a lovely elderly couple along with their one woman staff from holland. They were all so nice and so helpful. They also run a restaurant with very delicious turkish food cooked by another elderly lady and the prices were so very affordable. The room was very nice and cozy. The location is another big plus, with the bus station being 5-10 mins walk away and the train station being 10-15 mins walk away. Temple of artemis is another 10-15 mins walk away and ancient city of ephesus is 20 mins car drive or around 45 mins walk away. The ephesus museum is next to the restaurant or 3 mins walk from the hotel Highly recommended hotel

The owner and his wife are very kind and hospitable. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay here! We ate every meal at Alis restaurant as well, which was excellent! Would definitely recommend staying here. Ali was even kind enough to drive us to Ephesus so that we didnt need to pay for a taxi or walk. 10/10!
