The staff at this hotel are super helpful and friendly - we really felt that they went above and beyond to smile and make conversation, which goes a long way. On arrival the receptionist was really helpful and gave us loads of local information. The breakfast we found was better earlier rather than later - by later there were less available options. The pool and bar area is really nice and we enjoyed a few drinks there when the weather was good enough. The hotel is really clean and the rooms are spacious. We really enjoyed it and would go back.

The hotel is not a looker from the outside, but there were lots of positive inside - it is much nicer inside than out! It's a 10-15 min walk (mainly flat) to the main part of Como but it was not far and the hotel in a more central location would clearly be a lot more money. I try to eat gluten free and this hotel (and Como more generally) was not terribly well set up for this - there was no gluten free bread/cereal. They also don't give you milk for tea/coffee in the room, but I don't think they are used to this in Italy!

The garage is too tight and the staff need to be contacted to open it even when going out Also, there is no clothes iron in the rooms and we need to go to a room near the reception for ironing

The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Although a little out of the old town area it’s still a good location within easy walking distance of the old town and lake. A very good breakfast with excellent service.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious!

Bigger and more updated TV’s

The hotel was clean, well equipped with a tasty breakfast and very friendly staff. We liked the bikes and they were free to use which was a nice bonus. Fairly central location, walking distance from the city.

Nothing really

Comfortable room. Nice breakfast with great variety. Friendly and responsive staff - immediately adjusted room temperature when we asked. Free parking outside the hotel (safe and convenient). The room was fairly depicted in the pictures at Booking.

The neighborhood was unwelcoming.

The friendliest of staff always willing to help and always polite. A big thankyou goes to the barman at the pool bar who was so accommodating and lovely.

Lack of taxi service as it was not walkable for the elderly into town centre. Otherwise everything was lovely with the hotel especially the pool area.

The pool and pool bar were nice. Clean room and facilities. Aircon worked well. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Would have preferred an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Breakfast was a bit expensive for what you got as we just came from Venice and paid 15 euro for breakfast and there was bigger facilities and more options.

I had a small single room on the inside of the hotel, which was nice and quiet, with none of the ambient noise you get from modern chain hotels. Excellent breakfast. Easy 15-20 minute walk to the lake.

The parquet floors. I was woken repeatedly from 5am onwards by a guest in the room above me scraping a chair over the wooden floor. I booked parking in advance, but the spaces in the underground garage were so tight, it was almost impossible to park in the allotted space. The man from the hotel kindly helped me, but every manoeuvre took me within millimetres from a concrete pillar. Easier to park in the public spaces in front of the shops across the road, if you can't get a space in the hotel forecourt.

Breakfast was very good, Hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy. All staff couldn't help enough they were excellent.

Top floor pool and terrace doesn't open until June.
