Raul, the front desk person Raul, went over and above to accommodate me. He helped me change room twice and was very happy to do so. Also, Raul solved an issue with the final charges. I worked in hospitality for over 30 years. One thing that stood out was I referred an issue as a problem Raul called it a solution. He has worked there only 100 days. I hope and know he will go far in this "Hospitality" business. It's definitely not easy and can take a toll on patience. Please, extend this to Raul. Hot tub didn't work the main reason I went there. Very disappointing. Shuttle didn't run after 7:30 a.m. I had a Dr. Appointment at St. Francis had to reschedule. Also, pool was ice cold. I needed a retreat and the hot tub and pool were the only reason I chose the hotel.

The location was perfect of where we needed to be (by Northwestern university). We were able to walk to dinner (lots of options) and a movie as well. The pool and hot tub were small, but there was only ever one other person/family in there when we were there so it was perfect enough. We typically don't stay at Hiltons, but this one makes me consider it more in the future.

The only thing that I didn't like, which wasn't terrible, was we had to wait to check in until the guy at the desk finished up his to do list (he told us his supervisor told him to get those done first) which I thought was odd to do before checking in guests.

Breakfast was delicious with a variety of hot and cold choices. The fresh fruit offered was excellent. The fitness facility is nicely equipped. Parking at the nearby garage was convenient. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and 1.5 blocks from multi-screen theater. We received daily service to replenish towels, cups, empty wastebaskets and restock coffee supplies. We were welcomed on arrival and received good information regarding parking, meal options and hotel amenities. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Our only challenge was the bed being a little too firm. We didn't experience problems with anything in our room or elsewhere on the premises.

Located within walking distance of Northwestern University, Hilton Garden Inn is the perfect place to stay when visiting your student. We loved that the room configuration was such that two adults and two children could comfortably stay in the same room.

The access road leading to the property, sometimes feels unsafe at night.

Check in was fast and very friendly. We also appreciated the luggage storage the following day. Loved having a Keurig machine in the room. Great value, close to Northwestern University, and surrounded by lots of restaurants.

The parking garage was close but you could not access it without going outside. No fan in the bathroom and no outlet by the mirror outside of the bathroom.

The hotel and room and staff were very good, even down to the towels and shampoo.

Everything about the hotel (we did not eat there so no input on that) was clean and great quality and service, except: the parking garage tickets which we paid extra for never worked. We wasted time trying to use the ticket we paid at the hotel desk and then had to reissue... just pack in the lot in back esp if it is a weekend or street parking.

More than decent hotel, clean, with staff overall friendly and helpful, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Complimentary coffee/tea regularly replaced, and a useful microwave in the room. I didn't try the breakfast, which is paid for separately. Prices are in line for the area. I found this Hilton much better in all respects (personnel, facilities,, cleanliness) than the other Hilton nearby, where I have also stayed a couple of times. If back in Evanston, I will certainly choose the Garden Inn again.

Breakfast was good, but the syrup could be better. One cold packet of industrial Mrs. Butterworth’s is pretty lame. At least offer the option of real warm maple syrup—even for a surcharge!

The property is close the purple line! Nice neighborhood and chilis is across the street! The staff was wonderful! It was a last minute booking and it was nice to get there and be able to relax!

I guess the only thing I would say is that parking isn’t included. The parking garage was right next door but had to pay $18/day to park. For $28/day the hotel will validate and you are able to come and go all day if you want.

I didn’t like getting texts every day to ask how things are going. It’s annoying. But when I asked them to please stop they apologized and honored my request.
