Spacious room, well appointed.

Having two hair dryers in the unit would be helpful. The french doors on the 3rd bedroom didn't stay closed. Single beds in the bedrooms would provide more flexibility for stays.

parking does come with a fee, but it’s a shared garage space with your own garage clicker. it had direct access to the hotel. it’s an amazing amenity if you decide to pay for it, especially for a place like Chicago. Full kitchen with pots, Tupperware, utensils, grill, grill tools, dishwasher, 2 full bathrooms, storage space, balcony with seating, living room, and even a washer + dryer. You could even order groceries to the hotel and they’ll have it set up in the room for you once you arrive. we cooked the first night there and it really was like we were in our own apartment in Chicago. definitely staying back here again.

only downside to our stay was that the bathroom head light was broken and hanging off the wall. we let them know about it so we wouldn’t get charged for an incident fee and they brought someone up to look at it and said it wouldn’t be fixed until they order the parts for it and by then we would be checked out. minor inconvenience, but the staff were great!

The location was great, and the room we stayed in was fantastic! The staff were super nice, and overall it was a great experience. The paid parking was a great option, as it was a spot in an actual garage. I expected it to maybe be an open lot or something, so this was way more secure than I had thought it would be.

Honestly, not much could be improved! The layout of the hotel is split up and so I did end up in the wrong hallway at one point, but it was easy enough to get myself back where I belonged.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and fresh suite. Stocked with everything you might need if you planned on cooking. We did not cook but appreciated the full size fridge and coffee pot. Found Clorox wipes under the sink (my husband was sick and wanted to wipe down some surfaces). Needed scissors to cut off some tags and was pleasantly surprised to find some in the first drawer I opened. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms well appointed.

Living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable (but looks great). Didn't keep us from lounging.

This is a undiscovered property gem in a city filled with overpriced and often overvalued accommodations. It is in a quiet area close to the lake with easy access to all parts of the city. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and clean with garage parking adjacent to the building. Staff attended to a few minor inconveniences promptly and efficiently. The property is very secure and safe. We were offered early check in as well.

Although not deficient by any means, the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans, french press, and general kitchen utensils. The master bedroom is large with a in suite bathroom while the second bedroom is perhaps slightly small but does have a walk-in closet. A bathroom is located outside the bedroom with does create some privacy issues as it is in a hallway that faces the kitchen.

Wow! The Guesthouse is such a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and the apartment we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and stylish. It had everything we could possibly need for our 4 day stay with a well equipped kitchen, lots of white fluffy towels, lovely bathroom products and super comfy beds. It is really easy to get downtown from the hotel - just hop on the 22 bus that stops outside or take a short walk to the nearest ‘El’ train station Argyle. We absolutely loved it and will definitely stay here again if we come back to Chicago.

Lovely accommodations. I was upgraded which was delightful. I'm fairly picky but have no complaints or criticisms. Clean, fresh bedding, amazing kitchen. I'll be back!

More like wishes. I would have liked a TV in the bedroom. A light and table on the window side of the couch where the plugs are so you can charge your devices.

Stayed here for a girls weekend celebrating our friend who got married - overall great time! Was really nice to have so much space in Chicago with a full kitchen and lots of living space and a balcony. I ordered some groceries to be delivered and they put them all away for us which was super nice and awesome! Hotel is close to a lot of good food (JETS!!), bars and convenience stores. We went to the Chicago magic lounge and it was such a close walk. Hotel staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. We felt very comfortable for sure! Bonus to have a garage to park your car in too - felt very safe and no worries about leaving it parked somewhere unknown.

The gym is pretty small, didn't have weights or anything - just a treadmill, peloton and some yoga/resistance equipment - but it was good for what I needed it for just one day of the weekend.

This property exceeded all expectations. We got a text from the property letting us know that we could check in early which was so appreciated!! We were also upgraded to a larger room. Every time we interacted with the staff they went above and beyond to meet our needs. We stayed here while attending a wedding and enjoyed being able to walk to bars and restaurants.

Wonderful staff, cozy & stylish lobby, home-like suites complete with nearby, secure parking. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and we loved being within walking distance of great shops, restaurants & our concert venue. They also sent a welcome text and provided me with a spare phone charger when I mentioned I forgot mine. All-around great stay and we'd recommend to anyone finding themselves in this part of the city.

Minor quibble but would suggest upgrading the couch to something a bit more comfortable.
