Quiet neighborhood and clean accommodations. SUPER BUMMED that they changed their coffee brand. It used to be so good but now it’s weak and average. I must say that is why I came back. They don’t have coffee in the room but you can easily come down to the lounge and pour your own. Bummer that it’s not in the room but it was over the top good coffee! Now not so much. May look elsewhere next time I come to Chi town. So sad.

See above. Also the radiator in room 118 sucks when first turning on. Super hot and super loud all night. They shouldn’t rent the room out during that time period. That also is sending me away.

This is an old small hotel on a leafy pretty street in Lakeview just a short walk to Boystown (the gay area) and to the lakefront. So it's in a great location. I guess these days it's decent value for the money. The lobby has a really nice sitting room with free coffee available all day and night. Our room (with a queen bed I think) was quite small and dated, including the bathroom. I know it's an old hotel and you can't change the size of the rooms but they could be made more up to date. That was really our only quibble. The staff were really great and though we didnt' use it apparently you get a free pass to a really good gym nearby.

Like we said above, the rooms (and bathrooms) could be updated.

Beautiful old-style hotel, great location! The Majestic absolutely lives up to its name! What a phenomenal hotel located in a fantastic, quiet, and beautiful section of Chicago. Within walking distance of many amazing restaurants and bars, this hotel offers old school charm and a great vibe. Really cool lobby waiting area, too! Wonderful theming throughout. Completely satisfied!

It was just a tad pricey, but that is to be expected that close to Wrigley Field. But what a great area and great hotel!

The room was a great size. The bed was comfortable. All the staff was amazing and friendly. There was an issue with parking. But the manager took the time to call around and help us get parking. Roxana was more than amazing. Never meet a manager who cares as much as she did. She went above and beyond to make sure the issue was fix and that we had a great stay.

i love old buildings so that was a plus. Great location. cozy. very professional staff (check in, check out)

worn, ripped carpet in common areas, halls. very dated rooms parking description in site was misleading. parking available 4 blocks away, had it been inclement weather, I would have been very upset.

Staff was so helpful to me--a late arriving guest. They explained the off site parking procedure and let me know what breakfast options were available. A solid boutique hotel on a pretty street. Felt safe traveling alone to this property. Has a fun baseball theme throughout. General Manager was particularly friendly and helpful. If you want to get away from cookie-cutter chains the Majestic has personality and all the creature comforts for a sensible price. There aren't many options in this area and I would be happy to return to The Majestic.

The hallways were a little dimly lit , but that is a small issue compared to an overall satisfying stay.

The Staff were WONDERFUL!! They helped me find great places to eat, always cheerful, had a familiarity and comfort with the patrons. The room was comfortable and quaint. And, the location couldn't be any better (near the lake, a walking distance to Wrigley Field, etc.). I would, and in a heartbeat, recommend the Majestic to others! I hope to make my trip to Chicago an annual thing.

The room was very spacious. The hotel is located within walking distance to Wrigley Field (~15 min) and the shops and restaurants on Halstead (~5-10min). The staff was helpful and friendly. The neighborhood was quiet and felt pretty safe to walk @ night. There's a grocery store a block away. The bus stop is @ the end of the block.

The motion sensor lights in the bathroom only stay on for 2min or less so if you are taking a shower you have to stick your arm out and wave it around for a second to turn the lights back on. The decor was kind of bland. You may have to wait a while for the 15min loading zone in front of the hotel since there's only room for one car.

Beds super comfortable and large bathroom space. Curtains blocked the light out. Couldn’t hear lodgers next door or in hallway

I did not like the sounds mad by the radiator. Literally kept me up all night. My room was above the radiator room and apparently they just turned it on for the first time so it popped a lot. Like someone banging on a pipe.

Staff were welcoming & friendly especially the lady in the morning. The young man at check in was very informative. Nice size rooms, everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Coffee available in the lounge area & iced water. An old property with a lot of history

A little too far out of the main city. With it being an older building there were a few times when noise was an issue.
