because of the lousy air flight connections i had on a trip to italy, i was forced to arrive a day early and leave a day late in oakland. that meant two hotel night stays. the staff was extremely accommodating, even allowing me to check out 2 hours past the official checkout time. my final flight home was in the evening and i had no place to go until departure time. a late check out and being able to hang out in their lobby for a few hours was greatly appreciated. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, especially in contrast to some of the beds i slept in during my italian vacation. lots of choice for breakfast as well. when i needed their shuttle service they were very prompt.

nothing, other than a bit of trouble signing on to their wifi. but it was quickly resolved with their help.

Very close to Oakland international airport; rented car for birthday party in Modesto. Rachel who greeted and checked me in late at night was very helpful. She recommended Door dash or Uber Eats as dash food restaurants in area not safe at night. Free breakfast but no restaurant services which I was aware of. Also shuttle available for pick up and delivery to both rental car and airport for $10 per day 1 time fee. 24 hour parking $10 per day. Safe location in Oakland. Room is clean; toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body, wash and body lotion all available. Very clean room with mini refrig and microwave. Free Keurig coffee. Filtered water available in lobby. Continental breakfast available and included for early flight at Oakland airport which I took advantage of. Great value for property

No fitness center

Check in was efficient. all charges like car parking fees were explained and the barriers operated using the room key card Breakfast was okay. Room was spacious, to include fridge and microwave plus a coffee maker/hot water dispense machine. Bathroom was clean - shampoo, conditioner, handwash etc provided. Everything was clean. Coffee and hot water provided constantly downstairs.

The parking was a bit costly Single use plastic which would be good if replaced with mugs/cups and stainless steel spoons, etc I don't feel the area is safe to walk about so a car is handy.

The room was really spacious for a solo traveller. There were great amenities included in the room like a microwave, fridge, etc. the room and bathroom were clean. Area was also safe. Staff were also nice. Breakfast was basic but filling.

Just that the TV does not connect to a smart phone and did not have youtube or netflix so i had to watch local channels.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was a great room for our family and met all of our needs.

There was a news channel on the TV in the breakfast room that was communicating in a very transphobic and xenophobic way. It made us uncomfortable, making an otherwise very nice breakfast offering quite offputting.

I had the best two nights' sleep that I've ever had in a hotel. I'm sensitive to noise yet for some reason I always expect to sleep well in a hotel, then I remember when I get there that it's never possible because of other guests always making noise in their rooms, creaky floors, doors slamming or noisy conversations in the hallways. I chose this hotel as it's near the airport ($15 Lyft ride away) and although you'd expect noise from planes, I didn't (not that I'd mind that). The staff were pleasant and the place was clean. My room was apparently surrounded by pilots who "go out like a light". If you stay there, be mindful that if you keep your neighbours awake, they may be flying the plane you're on the next day.

Location Oakland is not a safe city I know I grew up there Someone broke into a vehicle in the parking lot there was glass on the ground Hotel was close to the airport and that helps

Cleanliness, central location, and easy access to freeways.

No issues with property. The front desk staff are not active listeners. Each interaction with front desk staff required patience as I had to repeat my ask in different ways for them to understand. I believe they are so programmed that it’s difficult for them to manage interactions that are not rote.

The cleanliness overall was great beside the ants

This random guy was there everyday our entire week there. He seemed homeless but he kinda scared my kids. He would walk around talking to himself, we even encountered him banging his head on the wall. I’m sure the staff knew he he was because they didn’t mind him at all, honestly I didn’t either but my kids was terrified.

Everything was great except I was surprised that I had to pay $20 extra to park my car over night! Also, a few more towels in the bathroom would have been nice. Lastly, the plastic eating utensils at breakfast we're really subpar. Way to weak. I broke 2 of them while eating! Please think about upgrading the eating utensils. Thanks.
