Comfortable room! AC in our room worked flawlessly and, was very quiet. Breakfast is very good but, I believe it should be included free with all packages instead of in it's own package with a corresponding charge. The cost of a night's stay should include breakfast. Shrinkflation I guess, pay more for a room and lose free breakfast. I've stayed there in several calendar years and, breakfast was included not long ago.

That they charge for breakfast, that there are only two thin bath sheets in the room. Also, folks were up early here, 6 AM on both weekend days. Don't plan to sleep much later, even the slightest sound can be heard.

There are many things I like about the property. The location is excellent, not only because it’s convenient, but also because all of the rooms I’ve stayed in have had lovely views of the mountains that surround Wilkes-Barre. The proximity to main roads is helpful, but the hotel does not experience highway noise. I have found the hotel to be consistently clean and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and pleasant in appearance. I have found the staff to be consistently helpful, courteous, and friendly.

I found nothing to dislike. The hotel is usually somewhat more expensive than other properties in the area, but I think it’s worth the extra expense.

My daughter and I decided at the last minute to take my grandson on an out of town getaway away for the weekend. We were blessed with booking our king suite with a balcony. We had now plans of what to do after getting to our destination. We mostly hung out at the hotel and got to enjoy the gorgeous view of the mountains during the day and the lights from cars on the highways as well as the city of in the distance at night. We loved all the sounds we could hear sitting on our balcony after it got dark. We had a good time using the pool, hot tub and the sauna as a family. We love that they provide Dove products in the bathroom! Breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating!

The only thing I have to say is the pool and sauna need attention. The pool has algae in it and some of the boards in the sauna popped up as you stepped on them. The seats could use extra support (speaking as bigger women it was a bit scary when we sat on them). The temperature of the hot tub wasn’t much warmer than the pool.

Clean, well maintained property which was pleasantly quiet despite being pretty full on the weekend of our stay. We enjoyed the pool and its setting. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, spacious room, views of nearby mountains. We did not purchase breakfast but $10 for a full buffet seemed reasonable and the restaurant is sunlit and welcoming.

Apparently the heater for the hot tub has been broken for some time and we were disappointed that while the jets in the tub were powerful the water was, as a sign warned, "swimming pool temperature." Unclear why the pool doesn't open til 9 AM; would have appreciated earlier access.

The entire hotel staff (especially Patty who truly went above and beyond), the restaurant, the easy and fast access to service, the beautiful grounds, the pool, and the breakfast buffet were all so amazing and it made my kids feel like the hotel was their home away from home which of course thrilled us. The few disappointing things involved our room... I was very displeased with how stiff and uncomfortable the bedding was. Just felt very cheap/rough and nothing comfortable enough to get a good night sleep which added to my frustration of the AC not working properly in our room. We had it set at cool and 62 but the room stayed at 72 and felt extremely stuffy to the point where I was up feeling suffocated most of the night. It was cool outside too so I'm unsure why the hotel room was so hot and stuffy. I'd hate to stay there in the summer months if the AC system has issues. Also we had trouble using the wifi so my kids couldn't watch their tablets. 😞 Other than the very uncomfortable room we still plan to go back thanks to Patty being so incredible with my kiddos. ❤️

Restaurant bar areas great. Room upgrade very nice.

At check-in, had to ask why I wasn't getting breakfast ticket for the 2 day stay? I always received that breakfast vomp as a platinum member. I had to remind them of my platinum status for years. Always try to stay at this location. Also, my veteran military rates were not honored at the hotel I had to book outside of the hotel. The difference was 61 dollars a night. Vets should receive a better rate

Nice facility. Great hotel location and the hotel itself. Would recommend.

I walked the parameter of the property. Sadly neglected with trash everywhere. Parking lot and any area not grassed reflect neglect. Sorry to say this and please know that your facility is not alone. Many businesses and hotels properties reflect this failure to keep your borderline property areas clear of trash and abandoned anything.

Patio with fire was very relaxing. Nice to swim in the pool and take a sauna. Dinner was excellent. Staff very friendly. Beds are comfortable.

Noise level in room; could hear toilets flushing on a regular basis and woke us up at night. Hot tub not warm enough and age rule not respected. Young children constantly in it and using as a play pool with lots of splashing so did not use.

I’ve stayed at the property before; the thing I like the best is the location, which is extremely convenient for me. The staff are courteous and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

I have no major complaints. On weekends, the hotel tends to have large groups attending weddings and similar events. Some of these guests can be a bit rowdy and noisy, but it wasn’t a big problem.

Room was a nice size. Comfortable bed with fresh sheets. Clean bathroom. Tv and internet worked well. Breakfast was very nice with several choices. You also had the option of ordering from the menu although we didn't. The lady in charge of the breakfast was very nice. We liked being able to have dinner in the hotel so we didn't have to go out again once we were settled in our room. My husband liked the exercise facility and said the pool looked really nice although we didn't use it. There was a nice landscaped area in the back with a firepit. We were able to stay twice--once on the way to Boston and again on our way back home.
