The room used was a three bedroom apartment. It was impeccable and had a wonderful view of Emirates Palace. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed at.

Although all amenities and services are available, the only comment would be that due to the large number of visitors the crowd management might cause a delay in providing services. The Housekeeping staff seem to be busy so you might need to remind them to come more than once. The room service staff also might not pickup from the first call.

We had a lovely experience in this hotel on arrival. Our room was not available so we were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was huge. The hotel itself was extremely clean. Staff were very very friendly. The pool area was very very clean and so was the beach. The beach area had a lot of sun beds under palm trees and parasolwhich is really nice as it gets extremely hot. There was a pool bar and a bar at the beach where you can have food. Down at the beach there are a few water sport activities you can also book. We booked one jet ski for two of us for half an hour and I believe it was about £85. you are in walking distance of the mall which takes probably about 1520 minute walk and a few bars and restaurants along the beach. If you want to go into the main city you will need a taxi but it costs by £6 to do that. The staff were all so helpful, very polite and couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you very much.

I would say, if you’re not all inclusive food and drinks are quite expensive, but we did find a supermarket just across the road.

The hotel is located in a very nice area near corniche. It is very clean and has great facilities, such as the well equipped gym. The pool was also nice and the beach area was fine. Restaurants were also nice, and the cafe in the open lobby area is lovely. We (me and my mother) had booked a deluxe studio but got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and well equipped, although furniture could be upgraded and spiced up with a bit of taseful decor and color, but overall very specious bedroom. The view from our apartment was breath taking, we were on the 25th floor facing the West, with the Emirates Palace, and Rixos Hotel in our view (and of course the Persian Gulf’s torquiose waters). The staff were very kind and helpful with many things. Special thanks to Sadik helping us with luggage and finding our reserved taxi to the airport (the driver was lost). Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend this hotel.

My only complaint is that the pool and beach could be seperated for children. I personally could use some peace and kids could get a bit loud, so giving them their own area could help them enjoy their holiday and spare the rest of us the noise :) bit nothing to consider a negative point.

Superb Accommodations and Service My recent stay at Bab Al Qasr Residence was a delightful experience enhanced by luxurious amenities, excellent staff, and a few areas where the hotel could shine even brighter. The Positives:- Impeccable Accommodations: My apartment was spotless, with modern furnishings and thoughtful details like a luxuriously comfortable bed and a high-tech bathroom with responsive climate control. The view of the Corniche was the cherry on top! Stellar Staff: From reception to room service to the spa, the staff went above and beyond with their warmth and efficiency. Their friendly service truly elevated my stay. Culinary Excellence: The main restaurant was a consistent delight with delicious main dishes, an expansive buffet, and a clever layout that prevented overcrowding. Room service, particularly the pizza, was top-notch, and while the desserts were a bit pricey, their quality was undeniable. Tranquil Spa: The spa provided an oasis of relaxation, boasting a top-tier sauna experience. The spa team's professionalism and attentiveness was a wonderful bonus. Pre-Arrival Support: I commend the reservation team for their proactive communication prior to my arrival. It made the planning process a breeze. Housekeeping Heroes: The housekeeping team was fantastic! They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and always maintained my apartment to the highest standard. Overall Impression:- Bab Al Qasr Residence is a gem in Abu Dhabi, providing high-quality accommodation and service. Addressing the minor improvements outlined above would make it a truly exceptional hotel. I would highly recommend this residence to fellow travelers seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Areas for Improvement:- Limited Outlets: I found the scarcity of electrical outlets beside the desk inconvenient. Thankfully, housekeeping promptly provided an extension. Poor Mobile Reception: My DU cell signal was surprisingly weak, making voice calls a frustration. Navigational Challenges: I often got lost trying to find my way within the large complex, particularly between the residence and spa. A clearer in-room guide would be immensely helpful. Incomplete Room Phone Directory: Having to call the operator to get basic numbers for the bar, room service, or spa interrupted the seamless experience the residence otherwise provides.

Room with 1 bedroom and lounge was very spacious. Good bathroom and kitchen, well equipped with stunning view to the Mandarin and Qasr Palaces. Service was amazing! We had a nice walk all way through the park with the Founder's memorial to the Corniche, very lovely area.

Beach and area around swimming pool at the hotel are extremely small. If you come at 9am, all sunbeds are already occupied. Mums with children had to sit on bar stools to watch their kids in swimming pool because there was nowhere else to stay. Same at the beach, we had to lay on little piece of grass, it was too packed. Sea part is very limited, during tide out water is very shallow, looks like a little puddle, impossible to swim.

The staff were outstanding. Professional manner and impeccable work ethic, yet unpretentious, approachable, warm and engaging. Had great tips and info about things to do and see in and around the outskirts of city. Room (deluxe suite) was beautiful, with incredible cityscape and sea views. It was surprisingly large and spotless. The separate bedroom was able to accommodate our five suitcases on extended several month trip and felt like a luxury apt rather than hotel. We have a restricted diet and are dedicated to our healthy lifestyle. We were able to cook basic but decent meals in the kitchenette during our entire three week stay and were supplied whatever we needed from housekeeping to do so, without hesitation. Hotel Food we can’t comment on much. We were comped the huge buffet breakfast, After an 7 a/m arrival from Dubai, while we waited for our room. It was incredible but expensive if you just want a basic breakfast. Was worth the one time indulgence though!!! Room service menu allows single meal orders and kitchen accommodated special dietary requirements on a couple of room service orders we made. Decent food but basic. Hotel is close to hypermarkets for quick grocery stops and there is a large Carrefour grocery store at Marina Mall, which was a 15 min walk or 5 min taxi ride away. We are avid gym goers. The gym is compact but very well laid out, equipped for well rounded maintenance routines during our entire stay. It was spotless and never busy. The hotel location is Perfect for nice long morning or evening walks along the corniche!! Lots of restaurants and coffee bars along the way.

Should have smart TVs in all suites. Smart TVs should also be compatible with Apple/IOS. That was a surprising and disappointing limitation for price point. Did not eat many meals there as they tend to be large buffet venues or fixed full menus unless room service is ordered. Food price point could be comparatively lowered. Could offer better meal packages for long term stays. We stayed three weeks but were under a month so didn’t qualify for a discount on meals or at the coffee bar.

A really nice surprise was there was a person at the reception Duty Manager Heythem  who spoke German ;) he was super helpful and very nice. The hotel staff are super helpful and nice. As our flight was at midnight after checking out, we were still able to use the facilities and enjoy the beach, as well as sightseeing and we were able to keep our languages free of charge. The hotel is located in a very nice area with an incredible view of the city and the gulf. There are cycle paths nearby as well as paths so you can go for a jog along the sea. About 200m away is a supermarket with a wide range of products and snacks. Breakfast was always delicious with a wide choice of dishes. The restaurant in the hotel also offers a variety of delicious food. Cakes were awesome!   The beach/pool area is very cosy and lying under the palm trees gives a great atmosphere. The gym is okay, the machines could be a bit newer and more adjustable, but it is perfectly fine to do the daily workout.

I recently stayed at the Bar Al Qasr Hotel and had a wonderful experience. I booked a 3-bedroom unit with a beautiful sea view, and it exceeded my expectations. The unit was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel offers both valet parking and self-parking options, which is very convenient. The elevators from the self-parking area take you directly to your floor, making it easy to get in and out. Additionally, the hotel’s location is fantastic, being within walking distance of the Abu Dhabi Corniche. It’s a great spot for a leisurely stroll or enjoying the nearby attractions.

One area for improvement is the building’s windows, which could benefit from more frequent cleaning to fully enjoy the stunning sea view.

The room was nicely furnished with quality furniture and bedding etc. As it was an apartment we did not use the restaurant but we did use the in-room dining and the food was excellent and hot. The galley kitchen was small and well-equipped. The small private beach area and the pool were a bonus for us.

The TV kept freezing, very annoying. The one attempt to fix it only lasted 24hrs! The lighting in the kitchen was very poor, the lights were badly positioned making food preparation difficult. The oven hood is too far out so anyone over 5ft tall will constantly bump heads with it.
