Huge comfortable room, bed is king size and also comfortable. Around the hotel there are a lot of supermarkets, beach is 5 mins walking and nice street with restaurants. Breakfast is ok, 6-7/10.

At the lobby smells strongly of fragrances , reception guys almost don't smile.

Hotel Oryx provided an outstanding experience, surpassing our expectations. The apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The breakfasts were varied and tasty, with new choices daily. The dinners were amazing too, offering two large portions with a hookah (sisha) for just 30€. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The range of toiletries, including shampoos, creams, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, razors and many more added to the comfort. Daily housekeeping kept everything pristine and well-stocked, including at least two mineral waters daily. Highly recommended for a superb stay.

The location was more than great, very close to Corniche public beach. The room was truly nice, comfy bed, awesome bathroom.

Two days no one cleaned our room. Even though the facilities were really comfy, neat and nice, I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a window at least that could be opened. The air conditioning was great, yet fresh air and an opened window would have been a great additional thing. The view wasn't really something, parking and city view. But for that price, it was more than fine. The street was a bit dirty, due to a lot of food courts and locals.

It's an affordable hotel in a great location! The staff was nice. Everything functioned well in our room. Overall, it was a good experience.

The staff was nice overall, especially at the reception, but there were few difficult interactions that might have been caused by a language barrier. Especially with the cleaning personnel, it was impossible to communicate while we really needed them to understand. They would try to come clean our room at 8am every day. You really don't expect a nock on your door at 8am, them 9am, them 10am on your vacation.. despite us asking them not to do this. The issue with the towel was also annoying. We in fact want to be mindful of the environmental impact, so we didn't want them to wash our towels every day. There's even a note saying that they'd only pick up towels if they find them on the floor, yet, they would replace our towels every day.

The room was clean and with all the necessary amenities. On the last day they allowed me a late check out with extra fee of 100 AED.

I think that I reserved a king room but I got a room for people with disabilities, so the bathroom was adapted to them.

The location is good, it's right next to a bus stop and not far from the public beach. The room was clean and nice.

Available valet parking, quiet location, comfortable and clean and a very large room. The view was lovely from the 12th floor. Breakfast was on the 16th level by the pool. I am critical about showers, I like lots of pressure, it was adequate. Nearby supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. I would do it again. Photos were exactly 💯

The showerhead was leaking badly so I had to bathe in the tub. Slippers and hand towels were not provided I need to ask for them. And then again asked for the towels again the 2nd and 3rd day. On the fourth and final day the staff informed me that breakfast was not included. The room had a fridge but did not have a freezer compartment and was not very cold. Temperatures were 44°c for the stay. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.

The staff, unfortunately, made jokes in Arabic about two men sharing a room, and it was painfully obvious. This not only left us feeling uneasy but also questioned the professionalism of the establishment. I believe it's crucial for hotel staff to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests, regardless of their choices or preferences. I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for the hotel to address such situations and ensure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable during their stay.
