The hotel is fantastic; the service is perfect. It’s not my first time staying at Intercontinental; they never change. I love how the staff remembers us and how welcoming they are. I noticed their value a bit high not sure why ! But I hope they will consider in reducing it .

The only negative thing is that management needs to be more strict with the rules. I’m in a Muslim country, and there should be respect for our religion. The tourist who walks in the corridors with their bikinis half naked are unacceptable, and going to the buffet with their bikinis and some private parts revealed is disrespectful. Tourists have the freedom to wear anything in the pool or the beach area but not in the corridors and restaurants. Management should be strict, and please teach your staff to stop them.

All the staff except the reception staff were really helpful. Room comfort was excellent

The check in and check out took too long. 3 queues of people waiting and no way of knowing which is the best queue to join. i waited 30 minutes for check in and check out. I found the staff to be dismissive when I needed clarification of my bill. I could sense he was stressed and maybe overworked. I dont like the layout. From room 315 you either walk through the lobby in your swim clothes or have to walk a way on the outside.I felt very uncomfortable walking in an area where people are checking in and out and wearing abayas and dishdashas.

Super nice and new property. The staff is nice and friendly. I like that, despite it being a large property, everything felt within reach - the pool, pool bar, and beach (unlike Waldorf, for example). They had a DJ playing by the pool on the weekend. The breakfast was good and had a wide variety.

The pool closes at 7pm for some odd reason and along with it the music. I get that it's a family hotel but 7pm is way too early for a "destination" hotel where people go to have fun. When the hotel is fully booked, the breakfast buffet seating area does not fit everyone so we were placed in the seating area of the restaurant next door (usually open for lunch and dinner). It wasn't bad, just a bit inconvenient to walk across the hotel lobby with food plates.

Breakfast was nice, lots of options to choose from, nice location. Ample of outdoor seating and very clean.

Service was very slow. We went on a weekend so the place was busy, but it still felt understaffed. We waited long for someone to give us a menu, then place the order, and then receive an order. Took over an hour to serve in-room dining, by then we'd lost our appetite. In-room dining food wasn't that great.

The service and hospitality was great for check in and staff generally. rooms are clean and set up well. facilities are vastly available. Grocery store on site makes life so much easier.

Service was slow, it was lack of staff, all staff were very apologetic and kind. But getting ahold of staff is a nightmare as well as the phone service is pain in the a**. The phones in all the rooms just dont bloody work.

Very slow check-in. This is our 4th visit and always get stuck in check-in. Cold pool water. Was way cleaner before. The pool chair cushions dirty. Overpriced for other hotels in RAK.

It is a stunning resort with a peaceful beachfront, luxurious design, and top-notch facilities. The location is ideal for a relaxing getaway, and the views—especially from the sea-facing rooms—are absolutely breathtaking. The resort itself is immaculate, with spacious, well-equipped rooms and a calm, serene atmosphere throughout. Dining options were excellent, offering a variety of cuisines and high-quality service. The staff across the restaurants, housekeeping, and concierge were warm, attentive, and always eager to help.

the only downside to an otherwise wonderful stay was the check-in and check-out experience. Upon arrival, our room was not ready even well after the official check-in time, and the delay was poorly managed without clear communication . At check-out, the experience was similarly disappointing. It’s a shame that the first and last impressions were not reflective of the overall high standard of the resort.

Our villa was tucked right at the end of the road, perfectly secluded and offered sea views in all directions. The villa is a generous size, the use of natural elements such as wood and natural toned textiles made it very inviting. The bathroom is so nice, and the balcony is private with sweeping views of the sea. I also appreciated the selection of radio stations to play music in our villa.

Competitive music. On Saturday, the beach had its selection of music playing, and then the restaurant had a live band simultaneously playing a different set of music not too far away. Construction. In an ideal world, the construction would stop on Saturdays and Sundays, especially along the beach front.

The location and the view are terrific..staff are very helpful

food was not ok for both the taste and quality. the food did not meet the expectation of InterContinental standard. I did had breakfast and banquet in the evening. everything was poor in taste and quality. Breakfast is only fair, seems like there are a lots but there was a duplicate station such eggs station. I was also disappointed at the reception desk when checking out as one girl seemed to understand that I asked her for the receipt when she approached and asked me how I satisfied with the stay. After 15 mins waiting, I had to ask her again for that then she started asking other GSA to get the receipt for me. I suggest the communication skill of GSA should be better than my experience.
