Lovely clean room in a quaint English village with a great pub, The Plough, just 40 yards away, serving well kept real ales. Graham, our host, is a lovely gentleman and made us feel very welcome. The bread, butter, milk, cereals and biscuits were a nice touch. The bath sheets and towels were beautifully laundered also. We used this as a stop off to the Isle of Wight and would definitely use again.

Nothing, really. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle and toaster but no hob, so just prepare for that with your self catering requirements. We did and it was fine. Or eat at the pub. We had scrambled eggs and beans on toast for breakfast, the eggs bought from the village stores in Clifton Hampden, just a mile away along the same road.

The hosts were lovely and welcoming , really friendly . Set in a beautiful village and has everything you need for a short break . Breakfast was a bonus addition provided by the hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was very clean.

The property needs a little refresh and could do with a deep clean. You can hear people walking about upstairs which could do with being addressed somehow when you have guests staying but it didn’t affect our sleep at all.

The Red Barn was the perfect place for what we needed. The room was really comfortable with a great bathroom and the simple breakfast was a bonus. The place has been very well fitted out and was very good value for money. I will definitely use this again if I need to stay overnight when visiting my parents in Didcot.

Beautiful, peaceful village. Private, calm room, clean. Bread, butter, milk provided and lovely to have a little kitchen. Great 5G WiFi. Parking right outside. Lovely host! Graham was so kind and pleasant. Definitely recommend for a country break.

Little bit of noise from upstairs - nothing too problematic.

The warm welcome by Graham, our host, after a very long trip from Northern Wales. The Barn is beautiful and well equipped. And surprise, surprise: a tasteful breakfast was waiting in the fridge and on the shelf. Free parking in front of the house and a friendly pub almost next door.

Found it quite hard to find, sat nav took us around the back for some reason so some direction guidance could be good! :) Shower went from cold to boiling without even moving the dial 😅

Facilities were exactly as described. Good water pressure and nice shower. The bed was also very comfortable. I appreciated small items in the kitchen area and this was ample to prepare a small meal after work. Check in was smooth and very friendly.

Not soemthing i didnt like but more to be aware of. The front of the barn faces the front of the house, the thinner curtain offered enough privacy for me and the thicker curtain at night made it completely private.

A very clean and tidy studio and much thought had clearly gone into the layout and fittings. Great to have basic supplies available. Easy to use shower and lots of hot water! Very convenient for Didcot - an easy 10 minute drive away.

A bit of floorboard noise as there are people staying on the upper floor, but this didn’t disturb too much.

Comfortable stay and the host Graham was helpful. Fresh milk for tea and coffee and cereal, bread and jam for breakfast. Just across the road from a good pub too. Sorry to have just been passing through and wish we could stay longer.

The only fault was noise from the people upstairs walking around is quite nosey. Also not a fault of the accommodation but a sat nav says it’s 5.5 mile from the Crazy Bear location, but it’s actually more like 12, which is £45 each way in a cab.
