Fife Lodge was one of the nicest stays I've had. Everything was right: old world ambience combined with modern comfort: comfortable beds, efficient heating in the room, lovely bathroom with deep bath , ample tea/coffee tea and quiet (no noise from the bar) The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful, being a short walk to the town centre and harbour. The large front terrace, facing the garden, would've been perfect for a drink, if the weather gad been good, but we opted for one in the cosy bar. A great cooked breakfast included too. We'll make a point to stay here again!

We opted not to eat in the hotel restaurant as it was pricey.

The Fife Lodge Hotel was a great place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, modern - special mention to the bedside lamps; the shower was fantastic and the bathroom products were excellent - you will need to bring a face cloth. The food onsite was great, breakfast was a real treat that did not hold back on its portions, and dinner was such hearty food, perfect for our celebration. And on that, as neither of us can take alcohol, the hotel was completely agreeable to chilling and serving the zero alcohol wine we brought with us.

Despite being near to a road it seemed very quiet and our room had a pleasant outlook across fields and trees. The room was a very generous size and the cleanliness was excellent. Both the evening meal and breakfast were of a very high standard. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

One or two small issues with the room which were reported when we checked out and I'm sure will be addressed. The restaurant was very noisy on the particular evening we were there due to a fairly large group meeting up (luck of the draw :)) With the benefit of hindsight we should perhaps have asked to move as there seemed to be plenty of tables available at the time. That's on us.

A friendly hotel with pleasant young owners and helpful staff. The hotel was busy with Christmas parties but that all added to the atmosphere. Food was well cooked and very wholesome. It was clear that a program of refurbishment was underway with the newly decorated all tastefully done.

On departure day breakfast we were pointed at the cold buffet but not shown to a table. We opted to sit at the same table as the previous day only to be told we had to move to another table very adjacent to the only other couple in the room as our table had been set for dinner. It would have easy for the waitress to swap a glass with a cup and leave us there but she insisted we move despite us having started our cereals. A shame because all the other staff were super helpful.

We absolutely loved staying here. The staff (all women) were marvellous! So helpful, friendly and couldn't do more for us. We loved the bar area and the food in the restaurant was very good. We watched a baby deer and rabbits stroll through the garden as we ate our breakfast! The rooms are very spacious as is the bathroom.

Nothing really - we loved our stay here! Highly recommended for all travellers - couples and families.

The room had everything you needed and more. The breakfast was absolutely delicious it was locally produced produce and the flavour and quality second to none. One of us had full breakfast and the other the smoked salmon with scrambled egg. They were both served piping hot with fresh orange and the freshly brewed coffee went down a treat.

The room was a little warm during the night even with radiators turned off apart from that everything perfect.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. The room and the facilities were very good. We had an excellent breakfast.

Could here conversations in car park through window and in reception through the door. Similarly could hear next door's shower through the wall. To make it a perfect 10, suggest, when able, to sound proof rooms more.

The location of the hotel set in its own gardens on the outskirts of Banff was superb. The staff were very helpful. Room was spotless and a great size with all requirements. Meals served in the restaurant were of superb quality, a great choice at a reasonable price.

The continental breakfast was adequate but could be improved on, the cooked was excellent with a good choice.

Food was very nice, staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has been upgraded recently in terms of decor, which was pleasant and fresh. The surrounding woodlands and park were very beautiful. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The only things that I would have liked were more surfaces in the bathroom and a bit more space in the room, but these are very minor drawbacks.

We had a lovely overnight stay and good breakfast. The evening meal was exceptionally good. Delicious fresh fish perfectly cooked. Staff all friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Fife Lodge Hotel.

Nothing really. Shower cabinet very small and no little shelf to put soap if you take your own. But all very clean . Not really a complaint just an observation.
