The garden was truly dog-proof which allowed us to relax and let our dog explore safely. The hot tub was very welcome! The garden has been thoughtfully screened off so that it felt very private. It was a great base from which to explore the north-east corner. Julie was very welcoming and gave us some ideas for where to eat and where to walk the dog in the area.

Julie was very welcoming. Her place is very rural and has an incredible array of animals. The place we stayed in was a gorgeous hut on the property separate from the house. It was very private with our own lounge, bathroom, loft, kitchen with microwave plus an outside hot tub! What a treat this was. It was big enough for 2 and we relaxed and watched the sunset.

House was roomy, warm and comfortable and Julie was very accommodating. She brought us our breakfast in the morning, which was delicious. The property had everything we needed. Location was very rural and quiet which made for a relaxing break. Also the alpacas and Pygmy goats next door were so cute!

Nothing, everything was great. We used the postcode on sat nav to get to the property and it took us right there but took us a minute to find where exactly to go. However putting Bankhead Croft in also works. A “what three words” location could be helpful.

Were offered small cottage, up on hill. Very small, but once organised, found it warm and comfortable. Even had a hot tub. Julie was a wonderful host, could not do enough for us. Lots of animals roaming about.

Too short to see in only mirror! Maybe a slip mat in shower, could be added. Otherwise perfect

The place was perfect to relax and unwind after a day of surveys and driving, the location was ideal for me and so peaceful The breakfast was top class and on time too. Added bonus was the hot tub which was already for me just to jump right in.

I couldn't really fault a thing about this place.

Julie went out of her way to help in every way. It is a unique location, with domestic animals abounding all around. We were there to attend a ceremony at Delgatie Castle and the location was perfect for this. Breakfast was particularly good. We will return!

Julie told us that the local council, Aberdeenshire, had ordered the removal of all direction signs to her property. Clearly it was not her fault and we arrived just as the light was fading. Though we had a 1:50,000 OS map it was still a touch confusing. Otherewise it was a perfect two night stay.

Quiet, secluded, comfortable accommodation with all fully functional mod cons including flat screen tv, wi-fi, central heating, walk-in shower and outside hot tub.

Initially difficult to find.

Fantastic welcome by a great host to an idyllic location and amazing wee house. All the animals nearby are friendly, except the geese lol ! Superb breakfast and the hot tub was an unexpected treat. What an amazing place, we will definitely be back. Thanks Julie!

Beautiful setting, lovely chalet, breakfast butties was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Alpaca, sheep, donkeys, goats, ducks , geese, chickens, turkeys and a peahen. Peaceful and beautiful scenery. Good location. All animals are cared for and pets. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Maybe some where to hang coats.
