This accommodation is at the budget end of the scale but offers great value for money. It's quiet, cosy, and the in room facilities are excellent including TV, tea&coffee making, a microwave and crockery/cutlery. Co-op just 50 yards away as well, meaning you can self cater to a degree. Some rooms are shared bathroom, was not an issue as there was a full bathroom and also a separate toilet and seems to be only a couple rooms making use of them. Free WiFi also. Plenty takeaways to choose from as well (chip shop/Chinese, Indian etc)

Difficult to fault at this price point

The room and the bed were great, super comfortable. We went there because it was near Bow Fiddle Rock, but Cullen is also beautiful at night and during the day especially if you're lucky and it is sunny-ish :) I don't remember his name unfortunately but the person that received us went out of their way to tell us about the restaurants around and even called the Cullen Bay Hotel where his daughter worked so we could have a table, which was a great gesture! We end up the night at the pub that is down the hotel and we were recommended a great whiskey, and the prices were very affordable. Overall there was a great atmosphere in the hotel and the town!

The pressure in the shared shower was not great.

Very keenly priced, but a quality establishment with very helpful owners. I arrived late, and they dealt cheerfully with a check-in in the early hours. Room was very comfortable with nice touches throughout. I was only there for one night but would have been happy to stay for longer. Well located in the centre of the town with easy parking outside and shops nearby.

I had zero phone reception (Three network). Not the host's fault at all, and the wifi was good enough to keep me in touch.

A very peasant experience. Whilst there was no meals available the owners let us order a take away and eat it in the bar. There is also plates cutlery and a microwave on your room Also found the owners and staff very helpful The location is perfect for all types oh holiday makers

There are four rooms 2 of which have on suites the other 2 share a well equipped bathroom. I did not have any problems at all with the set up

Cheap clean stopover on my motorcycle , no food option’s were included in the price , but the Cooperative across the road and local cafes and and chip shop and Chinese means you wouldn’t starve ! . Brilliant staff , this small hotel in Cullen is a wee jewel , definitely would go back .

No sink or loo in the room , but that reflects the price . I was never kept waiting or seen anybody else in the in the toilet or the larger toilet with a shower while I was there . Everything was nice and clean , it was a friendly close atmosphere in the bar with all sky tv etc . Dot who is the chronicle of Cullen , has a braw 19 year old timer of a coochy cat ! Who will keep you right on any meals you need , her hubby is a gent .

The room was clean and comfortable in a good location. The coop across the road was handy and although there was no breakfast at the Grant Arms, it was easy to get something to eat in a nearby cafe. Although my room was near a bar, it was fairly quiet and I slept well (Thursday evening).

There was no one around to hand keys to in the morning. I will need to check that my credit card has been charged, didn't get a message to say that was the case.

Excellent no frills accommodation at a very reasonable price in a convenient location. I was able to park on the street right outside the hotel. Microwave in room was an unexpected bonus. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and everything was clean. I was worried that there might have been some noise from the bar downstairs (especially as it was a Friday night) but all I could hear was a low hum, which was no problem at all. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great value and terrific roomy large King room with very comfy big bed and good large couch and TV with e.g. Netflix option. Excellent big shower and spotlessly clean. Very thoughtful to have a microwave and some plates in case you wanted a quiet night in. Nice cosy wee bar downstairs.

Not much; if picky you would say no breakfast or other food available, but it isn't that type of small hotel, and options are available nearby with different pricing. Couch doesn't face TV and just wondered if the room could be configured better as it is large enough.

very nice town the hotel was clean and had an old pub/hotel smell very rare and very pleasing, the bedroom was very standard but extremely comfortable. staff were pleasant and helpful overall I would stay here again.

I feel like most places the TV is never big enough to comfortably watch and the shared facilities is always a bummer however it was not a problem for our stay and we truly enjoyed our night.

Well equipped room, with kettle, microwave and plates/cutlery. Nice and warm, spotless and quiet. The room I had was one of the one of the ones without on suite but not an issue as there were two along the corridor. Landlord was very helpful and friendly.
