The property was extremely welcoming. You could tell everyone in the pub knew each other, and all of the staff were happily employed there and were looked after by their employer. Everyone was happy to chat to us - both the staff behind the bar and the people using the pub too. The pub was situated in a very quiet area, with the coast literally 30 seconds walk away. The room we stayed in had a huge comfortable bed and large wardrobe. The range of programmes on the TV in the room was also useful. We were concerned when we first arrived to learn we were staying above a pub as we weren’t aware of this before we went, but we didn’t hear a thing. The room was lovely and quiet.

We found the pub quite difficult to find as it is not well signposted. The shower in our room was an old electric shower and the water pressure was extremely weak. The lighting in our room was quite low and it was quite a dark room.

Lovely hotel, set in a coastal village. Nice frendly and helpful staff. All areas were clean and nicely decorated. Food was excellent with an extensive choice of food. A very nice beer garden with lovely flowers and tables and chairs to enjoy a nice peaceful drink under a large umbrella, handy for the Scottish weather. We were lucky to get the Apartment, it lovely, large sitting area, nice large bathroom and a nice double bedroom, there was another room which had two twin beds, ideal for a family. Lovely walk down to the sea, with lovely views.

Very friendly welcome. Lovely log fire in a cheerful area next to the bar. The locals made us feel 'at home', so much so that we decided to eat there rather in the separate restaurant room. We were four adults and had our daughter's two, elderly dogs with us. One dog, having only three legs, was in a dog buggy. He was the centre of attention. The evening meal and breakfasts were excellent. It really was a pleasure to stay there.

There wasn't anything to dislike. We knew it was a very old building, so it matched our expectations. The hotel's brochure, in our room, informed us that some rooms were reported as being haunted. We were slightly disappointed that we did not get to see the ghost!

A lovely little pub. Enthusiastically run by the landlord and great staff. Room was fine, big and lovely bed. Parking on site is great. Tasty pub food in the evening and good breakfast. It is a place that does what it says on the tin for the price charged.

The room was a little awkward to move around, bathroom door opened awkwardly for toilet access. Very very minor gripe!!

Phenomenal. If I could score 11 I would. Staff exceptional. Room exceptional. Value for money exceptional. Food absolutely exceptional. The bar with the clients exceptional. Made to feel really welcome by absolutely everyone from staff to the regulars in the bar. The food was amazing. The 16oz burger was delicious and so big I couldn’t finish it all and I can eat big portions. The fish pie was amazing. The best I’ve had by a country mile. I’ve been doing my job for 2 years and can honestly say it’s the best place I’ve stayed when you look at everything as a package. Can’t recommend highly enough

The property staff are very welcoming, polite and couldn’t do enough for us! The bar had a mix of locals and the local football team - all were very friendly!!

There was nothing that we didn’t like - they have a bear garden which had kids bouncy castle and a few kids which isn’t our scene as we’re a bit older but no big deal!!

The ambience, the staff were all friendly and helpful and carried our bag upstairs. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The bar itself was great and has a super fire, unfortunately everywhere else is chilly including the conservatory where we had breakfast.our meal in the evening was plentiful but the quality wasn’t as good as in our previous visit.

The rooms are small, and the bed was too large for the size of the room. The bathroom is a disaster as you have to walk sideways and there is no where to place your toiletries, we left them in the small shower on the floor. The seat in the toilet moves around when you try to sit on it. I have arthritis and the duvet was too heavy for me but it was just fine for my husband.

As a family of 5, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, comfortable beds, big bathroom. As a Pub Bn'B it was great and excellent value for money. Aside from the actual accomodation, 2 other reasons Seafield Arms is a must do are 1) The food in the restaurant. Its amazing and spans classic pub fare made to perfection (I had the lasagne burger which is not exactly as it sounds) to bordering on fine dining level cuisine (if its on the menu that day you have to try the crab bisque - its exceptional). 2) they put a lot of effort into the beer garden and nailed it. They've managed to capture a vibe you can't achieve just by throwing money at something. Plus it has a nice play area for kids that my children didn't want to leave. The actual bar was packed when we arrived for a football game so its obviously popular with the locals too. Bonus points here if you're a Man U fan.

The location is in a residential street so there's not a lot else to do in the immediate area but as soon as you walk through the gate you won't want to do anything but sit in the beer garden anyway.

Staff were amazing. Breakfast was really lovely both days and hearty portions - tea and coffee and toast were piping hot too and generous.

The food stopped at 7pm which meant we couldnt eat the first night as arrived slightly after. Would have preferred a hot meal on arrival.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. From two young lads sorting out parking, a young lady fixing the tv reception in my room and arranging dinner. All with a smile and a bit of chat. Fish a d chips amazing.

Seagulls dancing on the flat roof nearby……they are not delicate creatures.😂
