Kintrae B&B is a lovely converted traditional house on the main street in Buckie. Even though we had a room facing the main street, there was no issue with noise. The room itself was very clean, and everything felt well looked after. The ensuite appeared to be quite new, and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too, with a good choice of traditional and Continental food. All in all, a great place to stay.
The one and only minor niggle was the on-street parking. We arrived on motorbikes and would have preferred something more secure. Off-street parking is sometimes available, but it wasn't available during our stay.

The location right in town meant that walking everywhere with easy. Jackie and Mike made us very welcome and their b&b is very well maintained. The views from our bedroom and the sunroom over the water were fantastic. The breakfast menu was extensive and there were items there which we had not been able to have so far on our trip. Had I read my email from them more closely, I would have booked a meal for the day we arrived, but didn't notice that it was an option. As I said to them, I can't see how you would make it this place any better, but I'm sure that they will.

Jackie and Mike were very welcoming and gave us a full tour of the property. They were very easy to chat with, and shared lots of information about Buckie. The B&B was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. And the water pressure in the shower was very much appreciated. We could not fault any aspect of the breakfasts we had on both mornings. Delicious and hot! The sunroom that overlooked the harbour was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink or two.
Not a thing!

This is a lovely place to spend a night or two! It's right in the center of town and has a charm about it. And the owners are incredibly friendly and nice. The shower was good, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi worked well. There's a super cute sun room, plus the breakfast was great!
The walls are pretty thin so I could easily hear the people staying in the room next to mine when they were talking and opening drawers, etc. but nothing to be done about that except bring some earplugs!

Jackie and Mike are so sweet, and it was really fun to stay at their place! Wish we could have had time to sit and chat with them more! Jackie's macaroni and cheese was the best, just like my Mum used to make, and her sticky toffee pudding was the first I'd ever tried - we are all in love with that pudding now, and it will become something I'll make often in the future, and will call it Jackie's Sticky Toffee Pudding! Also, the rooms are large and clean!

Jackie and Mike are really lovely friendly hosts. The B&B is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room had some nice little extra touches - eg mini fridge and fresh milk. There is a lovely little sun room at the back with sea views. We had dinner - it is well worth it - great home cooking and you can BYOB if you like. You choose breakfast the night before which means there is a great deal of choice at breakfast time - everything we had was top notch.
We liked everything about it - all the bedrooms are upstairs which may be worth considering if you have mobility issues.

Our group of four planned to reach the BB by train to Keith and cab to Buckie. Speyside Whisky Fest had all cabs busy. Fall back was a bus well out of the way and taking hours. Jackie at Kintrae organized to collect our group of four and bags by enlisting her parents to help collect us and saved our trip! And the property is great, perfectly clean and very nice.
Nothing to not like about Kintrae

We had a lovely bedroom and very luxurious bathroom. The owners, Jackie and Mike, were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. It was great value and also had a sun room for guests to use which overlooked the Firth. This included crockery and glasses for guests to use if they wanted to enjoy their own food (although dinner could be pre arranged).

We enjoyed staying at Kintrae B+B immensely. It was in a good position of the main street of Buckie. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfasts were something you look forward to in the morning. You were given far more than was expected which was wonderful. The pancakes were homemade and they were delicious! Nothing was too much trouble. The conservatory overlooked the bay and gave us spectacular views. We were hoping to spot some dolphins but sadly didn't see anything. Jackie and Mike were brilliant hosts and it was lovely to see there cheery faces in the morning!
The only thing I would say, is that the beds were very soft. This in itself was not a bad thing, it's just that we are used to more sturdy, firmer beds.

Really friendly welcoming service. Lovely homecooked Dinner (these need to be prebooked) and breakfast with lovely vegan options available at both. On arrival I was even given a little bottle of oat milk for the fridge in my room. Room was clean, comfortable and perfect for my needs. Loads of really nice touches like DVDs and board games available for guests.
Bath towel was slightly small.
