The location was stunning, the views from my room were breathtaking. The room was much bigger and more lavishly furnished than I had expected. The telescope in the room was a great touch - sadly the dolphins weren't around during my stay.

It didn't bother me, but for those not aware the nearby air base conducts flights at irregular hours (it's part of the UK frontline air defence response) which while not overwhelming (I heard one night flight) is something that any visitor to the area needs to bear in mind. If you sleep lightly and head to Moray, best to bring ear plugs just in case the base is busier.

Rona and the staff were incredible with us, amazing us both. Accommodating and were given a room upgrade to their best room due to the hotel being quiet after the recent music festival. The room we got I would definitely book again. Stunning large bay window over looking the golf course and beachfront with the windows open you could listen to the waves crashing. So relaxing. The room was spacious and inviting with a lounge area bay window seating area, large king sized bed and large bathroom with walk in shower. The place was spotless and had everything you would need. The restaurant downstairs had amazing meals on offer with all the staff going above and beyond to keep the very busy restaurant moving with ease. Possibly one of the nicest stays we have had at a hotel for a while. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely nothing

This was the second time that we've stayed at the Golf View Hotel and the quality of this establishment was superb. Our room was first class with a view over the sea and the golf course. Our breakfasts were first class and well worth the price paid. We also arranged for four guests to dine with us on one of the evenings and the meals were out of this world, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. All the staff worked their socks off and couldn't have been nicer if they tried. We will definitely look to book this hotel again in the future.

Lovely staff, pleasant and v helpful Beautiful en suite double bedroom with amazing views over golf course to sea Lovely restaurant with great food ..ate here both nights & were not disappointed Good value. Menu was reasonable for the vgood quality of the meals.

Reception area not very “welcoming” Seemed to be no lounge / sofa area.. we had great weather so it was okay for us but if raining….Nowhere comfy to relax apart from the bedroom. Maybe it’s meant to be this way 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hotel was chosen for its location so perfect. Breakfast and dinner both very good. Staff really excellent.

The electronic lock to my room defied me on many occasions, although the helpful staff seemed to have the knack. My friend did not have a sea-view room - my original booking for us was for two sea-view rooms, I changed that booking to a later date and, unknown to me, the hotel did not have two sea-view rooms for the revised date. I got lucky with an upgraded room, he got a small room overlooking the street so not as happy.

Fabulous location and clean. Very good food and drinks too.

Our room was in the annex. Main door didn’t close gently so our room shook every time people came and went at all hours. Walls really thin too. Could hear word for word what our neighbours spoke about!! Also, slightly concerning that there was no pass or code required on main door of annex meaning anyone could come and go. Bathroom could do with some hooks or rails for towels. No mirror in room.

the staff are excellent very friendly, helpful and welcoming. breakfast was lovely. view from room was stunning. did get fright first harrier jet that appeared so noisy lol

I was in room 3 not sure what was above me but so noisy with creaking floor boards banging etc late at night. also able to hear the music from bar. overall maybe wee touch up needed the room door don't have identical locking which is a first some key others key pad 🤔

The room was lovely and clean, well decorated and stylish. The view from the room was superb overlooking the beach and sea. The water in the fridge was a lovely touch. Large bathroom with lots of space and large shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great choice of breakfast items from cold buffet to different types of hot items to order. Cooked to perfection.

The property is set in the idilic village of Lossiemouth. The room I got was an apartment with all amenities. As we arrived late I had asked for an iron and ironing board in my room which there was. Rona had organised for our to keys to be left on the reception desk and gave us the code for the door. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient.

Lovely location, Lovely staff, We weren't planning on visiting the dining area but by god are we glad we did! Food was delicious and prices were reasonable View from the room was gorgeous! Looking straight out over the beach and water.

Car park is a little awkward to get into (Come from the High St direction, not the airfield direction!, but that's a VERY SMALL dislike!
