The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were even able to keep our room when we decided last minute to stay an extra night. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent team.

The room we had was comfortable but dated. Needs a little TLC. It could have done with an extra clean as there was dust on lampshades and curtains no toilet paper on arrival, however this was quickly sorted by the staff , i cannot say that this spoilt our stay. I don't class dust as being dirty just needed a little more care and attention I guess.

Clean,comfy, and great location. Value for money. Restaurant meals were excellent.

Restaurant staff could be a little bit more attentive. Like giving a steak knife with the steak.Not making us wait a few minutes.After asking them.I know it was really busy.But getting a steak knife takes seconds.A little bit petty.But it is the tiny things that are remembered.Chefs sent ot three awesome meals.Do not want their awesome service ruined by restaurant service.Meal was not ruined.By this tiny matter.Though it could have been. Food was very good indeed. Front of house staff were amazing, friendly and accomodating. Prices for drinks were good too...

My wife was a house keeping manager for Premier Inn, and found the room to be very dusty, she said the housekeepers had only hoovered the carpet and changed the lininm, no dusting had been done for an age. We werent really impressed with having to sit in the foyer with our drinks, while an empty restaurant with TV was left un used. Last orders were a bit early too....

I found the location excellent, with parking right outside the door, the staff were friendly and helpful, an couldn't help enough. Accommodation was was as required(basic double with with breakfast). My only issue was that there is were no lift, with my mobility issues it took a little longer to get up and down the stairs, but heyho I managed. Maybe I missed a filter when booking, but it didn't spoil our time there. If I had the time, I would definitely be back.

The location, meal in hotel, service and choice at breakfast. I asked for a fan and it was put in room. I had an issue with the hair deyer on second night and I got it replaced when asking within 10mins.

The first morning we went for breakfast at 9.10am its served until 10 and when Ibasked about hash browns I was told sorry but they had run out. We were so looking forward to a hash brown. I spilt irn bru on the bedding the lid wasnt sealed shut and it leaked through my rucksake which i placed on the bed and the white bedding was not changed the next day.

spacious room with beautiful sea view. The owners have clearly been investing in upgrading many areas of the hotel and the bedroom was lovely. Bathroom had not yet been upgraded but it was large and spotless with everything needed including a good shower and bath. We asked the receptionist (Chloe) for a rubber bath mat and were given a brand new one instantly. As our stay was a Sunday night there were no guests downstairs, the bar was locked but Chloe cheerfully opened up and happily poured our drinks. All of the staff were attentive during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast cook even offered to cook fresh fried eggs for us so we could enjoy a runny yolk.

Nothing I can complain about.

On arrival, requested upgrade to a sea view room which was processed without fuss. I also requested possibility of having breakfast items made available as would be leaving for work before breakfast was served. Staff member on shift went above and beyond to get items together so that I could take somethign to the room to have the next morning.

Some areas of the hotel still look a little dated. While work has clearly been done to decorate since our last stay, some of this is just glossing over issues that could do with money being spent. While clean and perfectly functional, the bathroom in the room certainly was dated - an upgrade of these through the hotel would certainly be worth it.

The staff made us most welcome. My husband is coeliac and he was well catered for. The food was very good. A wide menu. The towels were replaced regularly.

No bedrooms on the ground floor. A staircase took us to the first floor where our room was at the end of long corridors. The toilet/ shower room was rather cramped. This well maintained elderly hotel would not be suitable for people with poor mobility.

The beds were clean and comfortable. Our room was good. Breakfast plenty of selection . Staff friendly and very helpful. Good location .

Unfortunately there is no lift to get up the stairs, Although a kind young man who worked in the dining room offered to carry my bags upstairs which I was grateful for. The hotel interior is tired and needing freshened up. The shower in our room was an over the bath one, so you had to step over into the bath, but plenty hot water with good pressure . None of the above will stop me from booking again really pleasant stay.

Hotel was booked at last minute for work, mainly on location, and had no idea what I was being sent to. Shouldn't have worried. It's a lovely building, all staff very helpful, buffet breakfast had many options (hot and cold), evening meals had good menu, and well stocked bar. Great views from the restaurant over the beach, some rooms would have the same (my room faced inland). I had single room, plenty of space, clean and tidy, but it is an old building, so don't expect perfect finishes. Golf course opposite, and many bracing walks available around the beaches. Had a day going round Loch Ness, Fort George and a few villages in the area, there are whisky trails to sample the local brews, but as I was on my own, so no one else to drive, and has to avoid them.

The hotel has limited off street parking outside the door. There is plenty of on street parking available, but no guarantee you get close. I stayed out of the main season, and had no problems.
