The location was great and central to the Town. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful.

It was uncharacteristically warm for Scotland and it was hard to reduce the temperature in the room (we appreciate most to the time you are trying to keep guest warm). Breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was not a traditional Scottish breakfast(it was an English breakfast) there was no Lorne sausage (Square sausage) and some baked beans and haggis would have enhanced it. The continental selection was a bit disappointing too.

The hotel's location near Gordonstoun was ideal for me as an International Parent. It provided the perfect convenience to attend school events effortlessly, allowing me to pop in and out as needed.

The taxi service recommended by the hotel was disappointing during my last trip with them after patronising them 4X times during my stay. The Father driver (MS Taxi) opted for a longer route to the airport, resulting in a much higher fare than what I paid upon arrival. This experience left me questioning their transparency.

The hotel is in a great central location for Elgin. The staff were very polite and helpful. Own car park. Small whiskey themed bar. Cosy restaurant. Good cooked and continental breakfast. I was also able to order ice cream to the room. Bath towelling robes in room. Nice seats outside to have drinks.

Our room wasn't very big with an extremely small double bed, not very comfortable for my 6ft 2ins size XL husband. Request a kingsize. The locked metal toilet roll dispenser was very awkward to use and kept sticking. Wasnt sure why there was a bottle opener attached to the bathroom wall.

Really nice staff, good location, plenty parking, good size room and wee mini fridge in room was useful. Would recommend.

You had to walk through the bar area to access the lift but this can't be helped due to lay out of old building. Seems petty, but the toilet paper was poor quality (not 4 star) and in a very tight holder so when you tried to pull it out it just tore off. The fabric on the base of our bed was a bit torn and the pillows and mattress were average quality for 4 star. All things that could easily be sorted and I would still recommend this hotel.

Great location. Room was well equipped. Window was deluxe so no view but gave good ventilation. Bathroom was fantastic. Good shower pressure and there were a few toiletries. Ironing board and iron and also a trousers press. Smart tv. Wifi was slow. Breakfast had a good offering. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I had dinner in the onsite restaurant and was very happy with the menu offering. Food was presented well and watering staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had to climb a lot of stairs to get to my room. Took a lift to first floor then walked along a corridor and up 2 flights of stairs then along another corridor. Luckily I didn't have a heavy suitcase.

Overwhelmed by the kind gesture and friendliness of the staff. On arriving at the hotel there was a miscommunication. Without hesitation we were upgraded to a suite. The accommodation was amazing, a massive room with the biggest bath! All we could hope for after a long day cycling! We were absolutely made up with the kindnesses. The maintenance man was so friendly and took time out of his day to speak to us showing interest in our trip. Thanks again for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. Great place.

Breakfast was excellent. Cooked to order and piping hot. We had a hangover on the Sunday, so put a do not disturb on the door, then went out in the afternoon. When we came back from our day out, they had sneaked in and everything was back to new. Lovely surprise, as thought the cleaners would have been done for the day. Fresh bottles of water in our fridge each day was a lovely treat.

Room was very hot. No heating on in any room. Window pushed wide open the whole time and curtains never shut to allow air in.

We had a lovely stay. Check in staff was very welcoming & excellent.  Room was spotless & well appointed with everything we needed to make for a very comfortable stay. Nice touches in addition to hot water pot with teas & coffee like a small refrigerator, bottled water & wine glasses. Hotel was quiet and beds were very comfortable.  Room serviced daily.  Great wifi.  We would definitely recommend this hotel. 

Food and staff were excellent. The evening meal was beyond words and its the first time in a long time I have managed a 3 course meal, couldn't stop eating!!

The room was exceptionally hot and was not comfortable, opening the window and turning off the radiator made things slightly more comfortable, but it was still very hot

Great room, very quiet - overlooking the area outside the conference centre with a giant chess board. Very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and it was nice that the linens had been washed in actual washing machines as they smelled like washing powder rather than bleach. The receptionist - Jackie - was lovely and told me lots about the region so I’m intending to return with husband next time for a holiday.
