If anything, only window that has no safe opening lock option (or maybe just did not manage to) Tap of sink a little hard to work

The Inn is not an inn as such. There was no bar, and there wasn't a restaurant or e check-in. It is really an annex to the nearby hotel. However we wanted 2 clean, comfortable, quiet, lowish cost rooms for a one night stay and this was perfect. The furnishings were up to date and well chosen. The en-suites were very good. One room had a view of the sea and golf course, while the other had kitchenette. The complementary teas/coffees were the usual, and that was fine. Emma on the phone reception was particularly helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

The beds were very clean and large, but my wife and I would prefer a firmer mattress. No worries on that score from the other family member!

For the price we paid it exceeded what we got. We were very pleasantly surprised at the value for money. The only downside was that we could smell tobacco smoke now and then in the kitchen area. I think previous tenants may have had a crafty cigarette out of the window and possibly thrown the stubs down the kitchen sink plug. On the whole though it was a very nice stay, albeit, it was only for one night. We would definitely return though 👍

I stayed three nights at Poseidon Inn and enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and spacious enough for a single. Bed with cosy duvet and comfy matrice. I much appreciated that there was a small fridge in the room where I could keep drinks and food cool. Location directly at the sea and only a few minutes walk from amenities was excellent.

Unfortunately my room faced the road. It was noisy when cars passed and also when passengers walked by. I didn't like the fact that people could look directly from the street into my room, so I had to keep the blinds shut most of time. This made the room dark.

Friendly, understanding and helpful staff (I was travelling with an elderly relative who needed to check in early). Kitchenette (no hob). Close to town attractions and views. Close to small grocery store, access to restaurants and cafes. No eateries in the accommodation and pre-bookable breakfast available elsewhere. It was peaceful but I didn't have any neighbours this time. Cosy once I worked out the heaters, neat and clean.

No separate light in kitchen area attached to sleeping space. Window in our bathroom on roadside. No comfy chair to sit on only hard stools or the bed. Limited off road parking (4-5 spaces) and road itself can be busy during the day. These are just my observations but I would stay here again.

The room was a nice size, the beds were comfortable. We liked the location, because it is so nice to walk out along the beach. Nice, quieter area. We liked that we were able to park right at the location.

This was our first time retrieving our room key from a lockbox, as well as our first time not having any employees/staff onsite. It was different, but it worked. The issue with that system, though, is that we are not from Scotland, or the UK, so we don't have a cell phone plan for the UK. If an issue arose, we would have to phone the number provided, which could incur high cell charges. It might sound minor, but to us, it's not minor. But, we didn't have to phone anyone and it worked out.

comfortable,quiet, and great location for water enthusiasts and golfers . It’s right next to the beach and about a 15-minute walk to the marina . There’s also a bus service. Nice places to eat near by .

Window in my room wasn’t great ; couldn’t see out of the window very well as it was fogged up all the time and the sliding bit was difficult to open i did manage to get the small ones open , such a shame as the view is amazing

Very pretty room, much bigger than what I expected. Very clean, quiet, comfortable. Very good value for the money.

There was a smell of cigarettes when we entered the room. Not very strong but noticeable. Also, there is a weird connection/wirering for lights - if certain lights are on at the same time, it's not possible to switch them off. Took us some time to figure that out when we wanted to go to sleep. Nothing serious, just need to be aware of it.

The location is amazing - sea and golf course from our window. I love how it’s not as formal as a hotel and it’s comfortable and easy to access like you would a flat or your own home. The staff are lovely and respectful. Perfect for a few nights stay, even longer.

There was a little bit of mould in the bathroom, the electrical sockets heat up really quickly and started to smell of burning a little. The windows wouldn’t lock in the family room. The bedside lamps in my grandmas room wouldn’t work.

An excellent location, amazing views over the golf course and beaches. The staff we came into contact in were very friendly and happy to help.

Couple of minor maintenance issues when we arrived which were quickly rectified. My only criticism is there was mould on the bathroom ceiling which needs sorting, and there isn’t a enough off road parking for everyone staying so sometimes need to park on road which can be a busy road.
