Had a really enjoyable few days in this well appointed hotel, enjoying wonderful sea views from the comfort of the bay window in our bedroom. The staff were cheerful and helpful , the food delicious and the housekeeping immaculate. It’s a large, old building , with on going refurbishment so it can only get better. Can’t wait to return!

Plumbing in bedroom , efficient but noisy No area for guests to lounge in whilst enjoying the sea views. Using the separate breakfast dining area ( there already is a very large dining area with sea views ) for this purpose would easily address this:

Parking was great, lots of space. Staff were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty, good choice on menu, fast service. Great view from breakfast room. Dinner menu also good, generous portions. Reasonable price. Book for dinner, it's popular. Great location, for beach walks and proximity to town. I'll recommend to friends and family.

I didn't know WiFi code for first full day, i checked room for info. Couldn't find anything. I messaged through Booking.com to get answer. Cover was patchy. When I walked into my room I found nail clippings on duvet! Somehow cleaner missed it. Shower was very loud. I didn't want to disturb rooms next door. No great problems.

The location was perfect for exploring Cullen and the surrounding area. Staff were extremely helpful and the accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Food was delicious. Weather was favourable too which is always a bonus. Would highly recommend Cullen Bay Hotel and the town itself is well worth a visit. Will definitely be back!!

The room we stayed in was just perfect with amazing views, could not have wished for better. We had an evening meal the first night of our stay, wonderful the cullen skink was the best one we have ever had and the rest of the meal was just as good. The breakfast was just as enjoyable with a great choice to choose from. Would definitely recommend having a meal in the hotel not just because it was so good but the views from the restaurant were amazing.

Everything exceeded our expectations will be returning to the cullen bay hotel had a wonderful time. We could not fault anything, room, food, service, staff everything was of a very high standard.

I like the view that the hotel has, the grounds are well kept as well. My room was clean and it came with a bathroom with a tub which is a plus for me. Breakfast was nice and the receptionist was nice as well.

The overall value for money I'd say for me it wasn't there. For this price usually you can book a hotel with swimming facilities and i wouldn't get a single bed room but a double for single occupancy. The room itself was very small with a view to the backyard, which was ok. Not a bad place, I just i felt it was overpriced.

Excellent location overlooking Cullen Bay, great value, very good food and refurbished rooms/other areas. Friendly, professional service - from Tianna at Reception (goes that extra mile) to Ian (chef) and Kalan (waiter). Definitely recommend for a great stay!!

Probably the best view from my room window that I have ever had. Breakfast and meals superb. Friendly and efficient staff at all levels. Cleanliness and service great. The Cullen Bay hotel more than lived up to my expectations. I hope to return.

Hard to find a fault. Even the weather was great.

View is exceptional, facing out on to Cullen Bay and the Moray Firth coast. Breakfasts were excellent both in taste and portion size. Room was spacious, comfy and clean with a generously sized en-suite.

Generally has a feeling of being a large guest house rather than a hotel. Could hear other residents quite clearly in the corridor, but since the place is quiet it generally was not a significant concern.

Beautiful location stunning views. Ideal location for travelling around the area. Able to walk into Cullen along the coastal Path.

Would have been nice to have had seating area outside to make the most of the sea views.
